Google’s 54-bit quantum computer achieved nascent quantum supremacy in 2019. This is an event that was led up to by decades of research into quantum physics which is, in turn, built on centuries of understanding of physics. This is truly a momentous achievement. Still, quantum computing was predicted to advance rapidly, making this computation even more efficient. IBM created a 433-qubit quantum computer in 2022 called the Osprey (Theresa). One could fairly induce that these machines are even better at these sorts of calculations. While the number of qubits on the latest quantum computers has gone up over eight times, traditional semiconductors are hitting the limits of Moore’s law. The future of quantum computing is very bright. With breakthroughs being made in ways we could not even imagine with classical computing, this field will be making fundamental contributions to the way we compute that will be felt for many years going forward. However, we may not fully understand the implications.

I wrote other stuff but that's the tldr.

True boomer investors don't do any sector bets at all. They are currently just as invested in tech and growth stocks because they just buy VOO and tech happens to have dominated the S&P500 the past years.
>>
All this talk of quantum versus classical computation benchmarks raises the question of what quantum supremacy is. Quantum computers have achieved quantum supremacy when they have performed an unachievable operation by classical computers, either due to time constraints or feasibility. Sergio Boxio, a quantum physicist, wrote a 2017 paper that a quantum computer with approximately 50 qubits would be the absolute minimum to achieve quantum supremacy (Boixo). Up to this point, computer scientists have believed that a classical computer can perform any calculation any other computer can do. Quantum supremacy makes this previously widely held belief untrue.

Most of them are debt laden and the dollar intervention means all that money they are pulling in from overseas isn't helping as much, oil has jumped to hit what would normally help them in terms of dollar strength, and specifcally companies like AAL are debtmaxxed.

Boomers are unironically more retarded than zoomlings rn.

My basic hunch is that quantum technology is in the vaccume tube phase, and the quantum transistor is yet to be invented. If it was, then we could manufacture them to be very small. My research suggested it's all about how to create qubits, not necessarily the volume of qubits, but a highly scalable qubit solution. We would be operating at the atomic level however, and nanomanufacturing would have to come into play. Further development would go into subatomic physics.
>>
NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGERRRRRRRRRRRRRS
>>
>>61780401

We don't even need to look at quantum to see large scale computing improvements.
People just parrot quantum because it's what the normie hears being talked about.
Photonics is the next true evolutionary step in computing.
It's going to remove the issue of heat almost entirely, making it orders of magnitude more efficient, cheaper and far more powerful.

Alright poor fags, here's your bull thesis for making money: GEV.
GEV is THE manufacturer for power generation. They're used across the board for all sources of generation: Wind, Solar, Nuclear, Hydro, and Gas. They make turbines, the core of most electricity generation: if you know of a power generation plant that takes thing and makes energy, it almost certainly uses a super expensive turbine...that GEV manufactures.
As power requirements for the US continue to go up, GEV's bottom line continues to explode. If you believe that power generation will continue to ramp up, GEV's revenue will follow.

you are late, like really late. But still money to be made with the need for more turbines for grid power and more on top of that for data center power. Another big one I missed was Bloom Energy where they do not need turbines to convert natgas to 800v which is what the newer NVDA chips use and they can eliminate sever components in the middle and do not need to step down high voltage, just use the 800v. Also why NVDS has much potential as they pivot.

The problem with MRAM is that the market is currently buying DRAM so if you're hedging that MRAM will replace DRAM as the favoured AI product, you're ahead of the curve. But more importantly sinc all of these computer hardware stocks require physical production of their products, they can hit bottlenecks if they're too small. This is why larger companies with greater industrial manufacturing capabilities are a safer bet, because if MRAM gets all their stock bought up one day because Elon needs MRAM for his space data center grift, MRAM then has to rent factory space or build a new factory to keep up with demand until the bubble pops.

I thought I was doing well enough keeping $50k on defi to earn like 5-6% APR. Now I'm thinking the big brain move is using it to trade cash-secured puts on AMZN, TSLA, META, etc. for $200-500 in premiums every week. This would on top of the covered calls I've been selling for $600-1800 every week (but only just started doing this a few weeks ago). I follow a low delta strategy because I don't want my contracts to get exercised. Can anyone experienced folks tell me the flaws in this plan?

Post-COVID economic recovery prospects are high, and most countries are expected to see higher than usual economic growth. This is different from conventional economic recessions, according to the IMF.[244] The China, India, ASEAN nations and other emerging Asian economies are expected to continue growing most significantly throughout the 2020s, and is expected to dominate global economic growth following the pandemic.[244]

I want another covid recession

it would basically a transfer of wealthy to cash and poor to asset holders, a fair wealth redistribution.

Good point. I'm getting more frazzled by the day. It no longer feels like a sure bet like mid 2025 was like. Might he time for me to just go 100% cash but I can't resist, it feels like there is still money to be made but I am noticing I am making trades that I would not sensibly take at these prices if not for the euphoria. And despiteall that euphoria I know these stocks will dump the moment AI becomes too costly to continuebeing propped up. Better going 100% cash than getting trapped into holding an all in on a tech stock and it dumps like Oracle did lel.

This started as about 10% folio last year. I flat bet them all. And haven't really touched. Im still 90% stocks in mids and large caps. 2-3x this year. They are starting to take off now. I will average in now until 50% folio. And gradually sell down my physical silver and gold and add to all stocks until I get to 30% physical gold minimum. So no full port. Average in as the bets prove themselves. Extremely volatile so dont even look at them. But they go UP.

Days gains so far included

Novo reported 2025 sales of 309.1 billion Danish krone (DKK) for 2025, above the DKK 307.3 billion analysts had anticipated, according to FactSet. Operating profit fell 1% in local currency and increased 6% at constant exchange rates to DKK 127.7 billion.

Trading was halted ahead of the report. After resuming trading, Novo's U.S.-listed shares fell 11% to $52.66.

Didn't lose though. The shorts are not puts, no decay or value loss. They just were red cause I shorted too early and red overnight, but I also got out too early, yet green.

So my play is two fold. Assuming you don’t want any physical gold. Though I would recommend one ounce. But anyway. For 20k. And assuming you want to take on some risk. I will keep it simple.

The list I posted. Take 10k and divide it evenly across the list. Think of it like a high risk high gain personal ETF you have constructed. I actually keep it on a separate brokerage. And DONT trade it. Just leave it. Companies can drop 30% and be back higher a month later. So just leave it.

Other 10k. Put 5k on Newmont Agnico or Barrick. Pick one. Big cap anchor. Now 1k on Hycroft. 1k Dolly Varden. 1k Hecla. 1k Vizsla. And last 1k on Fresnillo.

Then just leave it. For what it’s worth I believe we will see a crash. And they will go down with the market. But will recover and rocket in the rush for gold and commodities after the correction. May take couple months. If that happens. Just leave the junior list. Let it ride. Put a 20% stop loss on the 6 other bets. If they sell in a correction. Wait for it to bottom and buy them back when the upswing begins. You will need to be patient and be willing to hold on the down turns. And NOT trade the upswings or reallocate the junior list waiting for at least. 6 months. Maybe a year.

That’s my play. Others think tech will never dive.

Here is all US stock markets since 2002. You decide.

Did you put as much time into it as I did. Or just take the time to type shit list. Your usual low value contribution level.

Just buy a Time Machine so. Another genius contribution. Who didn’t buy it 2016 anyway. The question is what to invest in NOW. Not what’s fucking topped you stupid cunt.
