>AppLovin’s stock slid 4.5% after hours despite crushing Q4 expectations with $3.23 EPS versus $2.95 consensus and $1.66 billion revenue against $1.62 billion estimates.

>The reaction appears disconnected from fundamentals ,net income jumped 84% YoY to $1.10 billion, and Q1 guidance of $1.76 billion exceeded the $1.7 billion consensus.

>The after-hours decline comes amid broader ad-tech sector weakness, with Unity down 12.6% this week and 50.7% year-to-date. AppLovin’s RSI of 39.94 signals oversold territory after the stock fell 30% over the past month from $658.65. The company’s strong results and guidance contrast with the after-hours price action.

What is the aesthetic for this brand? How about "Room Brew" "Earth Trip"
but Field Notes is the best
>>
>>61839875
It's so tough to figure these things out. Thanks for the input. The biggest problem with Field Notes is the existing company, which is quite litigious and defensive of their trademark. And it was difficult to get a domain for that name since fieldnotes.com and fieldnotescoffee.com were both taken. Mycelia is the best alternative I've been able to come up with that retains the scientific / naturalistic bent and could work with the vibe and social media handles were available too.

In a late night fit of delusion inspiration I also grabbed cosmocoffee.co, but the honeymoon phase on that name is winding down now.
>>
>>61839711
I told them to hold and profit, the market favors the patient.
>>
>>61839849
Mycoffee is cleaner, draws in the prospective user to inspect the elements closer.

Is it nootropic?
>>
>GRAB

>>
>>61839884
The aesthetic / branding I think should come from the company ethos and mission first. I want to deliver non-scam high quality stuff like I'd make for myself, so we're going to use real extracts instead of powdered mushrooms, etc and follow best practices for cultivation and extracting methods that align with highest bioavailability and quality.

It's going to drink like normal coffee, not 'mushroom coffee'. It'll just have extract infused with the bean or freeze dried and blended with pre-ground coffee. So the 'aesthetic' I wanted to lean into comes from that, sort of scientific, naturalistic, etc.

>Field Notes
Yeah I agree but the legal issues are scary. I'd hate for the brand to finally be getting momentum, then get hit with a cease-and-desist while sitting on thousands in labeled packaging supplies. Plus, the domain name and social media handle availability is a lot worse for it.

We need to mine more copper. In the next 18 years to meet the second electrification wave. Than humans have in the last 10,000.

Or but SanDisk or MU or whatever. Ignore the known calculated deficits in these metals and many more.

It’s tiring talking to these guys some times. You’re handing them minimum 2x gains per year and they can’t see it. There’s Bitcoin like gains to be had. And not in just one company. There’s hundreds of you do some homework.

>>61839971
I would port the theme over to Mycelia, I think it'd work just as well.. But clearly everyone here likes the Field Notes idea more. It's just the fear of legal issues and the crappy domain space that has me yearning for something cleaner.

>fieldnotescoffee.com
Unfortunately this was registered just a week before I had tried to grab the domain. I was so pissed. And it's coffee doped with cordyceps and lions mane extracts.

Weird coincidence anon, I thought about you the other day (no homo) while I was in TGT. They were selling mushroom coffee on an endcap, had a big display. I guess it's the new hot thing so you'll need to make sure yours stands out. I like the Field Notes name.
>>
>>61839967
yea ive seen the same friedland youtube video
>>
>>61839981
So you don't like Mycelia? And yeah Cosmo would sorta lock the branding into cheeky space/psychedlic theming, which I don't know is optimal long term or aligned with my goals.

>>61839989
Yeah our product will be completely different than any mushroom coffee I've seen. It's just like black coffee, but with extract already added to it. Not a nasty blend of dried mushrooms and instant coffee. And I prefer black coffee to avoid drinking sugar all day so most mushroom coffees are a non-starter for me. But I do get a nice mental boost from cordyceps, so it's just something I'd already want to be drinking anyway. Hoping the product differentiation helps get us some traction.

Here's my attempt to get AI to change the text to Mycelia.

i invested in GOOG AAPL MSFT to get exposure to high tech but after looking at the capex spending and gigantic debt (and 100-year bonds for the first time since the dot com bubble) i'm having second thoughts
also there seems to be a sector rotation happening off big tech
should i sell? i thought GOOG had an edge with its TPUs and stuff but the risk is too high with the gigantic debt it's getting into. a single crash could wipe it out
AAPL seems stronger with its products but is facing higher memory costs
MSFT is doing whatever MSFT is doing... i think it's too big to fail so it can afford to be more retarded

>>61841123
Depends in how much you spend. I have the executive with the citi card. I got 3 kids so I spend a shit ton. Also the citi card has very good cash back. With exec and citi, you get 2 anual cash backs. One for whatever you spend in store(exec) the other (citi) for every day spending. You just have to remember its.more bulk and you need to divide things up. For example, I get the 6lb ground beef and use a vacuum sealer. Things like that. Its worth it for me.

>So you don't like Mycelia? And yeah Cosmo would sorta lock the branding into cheeky space/psychedlic theming, which I don't know is optimal long term or aligned with my goals.
on the other hand, it's easy to maintain a brand and it's lighthearted enough to catch people's eyes. I like the idea of including extract and just drinking it black. One thing I'd consider is that low-acidity coffees are becoming more popular with the health crowd since they're gentler on the gut. I've been loyal for years to one specific roast from one specific local outfit, because it's so low in acid. I'm not interested in any health benefits, but I like the taste better.

Some etfs are great, like those for foreign markets, let’s you buy companies that aren’t listed in North America
>>
>>61841316
The problem with MSFT is all of their products suck and don’t have any new customers. You’re buying an overvalued fading cash cow that’s going to be forced to swallow an imploding open AI
>>
>>61841467
not at all, but it's not really something that needs to be discussed often

>>
>>61841467
much of american money is in index etfs, the form was popularized for tax purposes
>>
>>61841481
If their products sucked and they didn’t have new customers they wouldn’t make so much money every year, if anything they’re undervalued , people are down on them because they’re out of fashion and somehow forget 99% of PCs run windows and that will never change no matter how shitty windows gets
>>
>>61841494
>much of american money is in index
I am aware, but there is also the fear rhetoric that it is overbought and should have bad cycles in due time?
not sure, it seems just like some ill intentioned narrative and I don't buy into that narrative but it seems worth to think about

I dont see how index etfs every perform truly worse compared to inflation at least
is it possible?
>>
>>61841495
PC market is irrelevant to their revenue. They’re paying open ai to grow their revenue. Enjoy your bags though
>>
>>61841495
>99% of PCs run windows
exactly, no need costumers
all cash flow increase is from better supply chain management, efficiency and increasing margins
also there is the potential OpenAI bag

currently I have 40% world, 40% eu, 10% italy and 10% japan
>>
>>61841498
>bad cycles in due time
globally diversify as much as possible, you aren't really supposed to touch most of that money for 10-30 years ideally, so bad cycles don't matter much in that timeframe
>>
>>61841498
depends on the specifics of the investments here, time, risk, etc.

if the american broad market etfs does bad we'll all be looking for food in dumpsters.

I like Michael Burry's newest letter:

>“You think it is helpful having a fluorescent green praying mantis coming into their offices telling them about German philosophy? Do you think that’s helpful? I can tell you it’s not helpful.”

That is Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, discussing his disconnect with his own engineers, according to biographer Michael Steinberger’s excellent book, The Philosopher in the Valley."

About Karp I also have something I picked up.
When he talks about his time in germany, he apparently studied in southern germany but talks about sex parties in berlin. As if berlin would not be the other side of the world from bavaria. Doesn't make sense at all unless he was very gay.
