Recent history is pointless. There was never such demand for advances this fast in GPUs and we are now near the limits. We are closing in on a plateau in performance and economic limitation in energy, raw materials, and supply, and we are getting closer and closer to the physical limits in the chips themselves. Moore's law is dead, and advances are mostly just variations of "moar coars" and "moar rams".
GPUs bought today by AI datacenters will be squeezed and cannibalized for parts and maintenance for a decade. No one will ever throw away a working H100. GPUs will become like 4th gen fighter jets that are kept and maintained from the 80s because they are still good to use.

are you literally retarded or were you dropped on your head as a child?
The gpu advancements every few years leads to newer cards providing cheaper computer per watt. This leads to decrease in cost per gigaflop of compute.
When the cost is reduced your older cards now lose money because they are more expensive to run. So if compute costs 10 dollars on the open market because of new cards and your old card costs 15 dollars to run, your graphics card is cooked, and the longer you run that card the more money you lose.
>>
>>61904095
That doesn't mean that there's no demand, just that Moore's law was always fake and gay and retarded.

This is stupid for a number of reasons . It assumes no advancement in technology which is the dumbest thing a faggot could ever say. Plus if it does not advance that means the cost to produce it go down and gpu become commodities . Also empirically technically continues to improve in efficiency and power .

>In economics, the Jevons paradox, or Jevons effect, is said to occur when technological improvements that increase the efficiency of a resource's use lead to a rise, rather than a fall, in total consumption of that resource. Greater efficiency reduces the amount of the resource needed per application, lowering its effective cost; if demand is sufficiently price elastic, this induces demand such that the per-unit savings are more than offset. This results in efficiency gains in the use of resources frequently increasing, rather than decreasing, total resource consumption

Honestly, this is one of the reasons why I've switched to exclusively using calls. The call puts you on a timer. If you have a call of a few months duration, the answer is often clear -- you just sell it after a lot of the terminal value in a good scenario has already been captured. If you think the chance for dips near term is high, you should sell.

Prediction markets say Dems (~82%) will win house but GOP will win senate (~60%).
This is probably based off the usual lower turnout of incumbent voters during mid terms and extreme gerrymandering by Democrat states (Senate cannot be gamed like house). However this assumes the SAVE act is not passed, and doesn't account for lost votes to deportations and election fraud.
Either way, it probably wont be too impactful in the short term regardless.

Don't be a pessimist or optimist about the world.
You have to become a relentless optimist about your competence.
When you do that, you stop worrying about where markets could do and you replace it by certitude you will navigate any situation correctly.

I use AI to assert the condition of given stocks. I've got no time to go through pages of financial reports and compiling conclusions from them. AI is pretty good for it. But it's shit at predicting the market.

I thought the same when it was at 100k. And then at 140k. Samsung's P/E is still like 30, so way less than the likes of NVDA and AMD.
When plebs start buying, that's when it's time to evacuate. But I don't think it was the case neither at 100k nor 140k. Might be the case now. It gained 43% in a month, lol

Fidelity won't let you buy stocks less than 3 dollars until the funds settle. This is why I end up just letting around $100 sit there for a quick buy when something is down. No big deal. This is better than Robbin Hood stopping retail investors from buying stock when you have settled money for whatever reason. Remember what they did to stop people from buying Game Stop and AMC? That is way more cucked and crooked.
