while I was there I ran into 2 guys and a gal digging the same site. They told me they were great grandkids of the saloon owner. All good we talked for a while and I went back to detecting

the next year I was detecting and found 2 tokens from their family. I went on facebook and searched the name of the younger son I talked to. I found him on facebook and messaged him to offer him one of the tokens I found.

he accepted and gave me his address. I sent him a token and a month later I got a package from him with a 1906 D Barber half he had dug in exchange. It was a good trade and he got his family token to keep and show off.

Not heretical, pretty based even. They are pretty affordable too, you are looking for what's commonly called a tyrian shekel, but in numis term is a tetradrachm of Tyre, featuring Melkart (phoenician name of Hercules) and the usual eagle of the ptolemaic dynasty.
The ones from the year of crucifixion like pic rel fetch a huge premium, and that's most likely not the ones Judas was paid with (why would he be paid with freshly struck coins?), so you are better off with earlier years you will easily find for few hundred bux in great condition.
