I wonder if this war in Iran is looking like a deliverate cessation of the monetary system to allow it to deleverage. It accrues so much interest it's not even smart to try to maintain it.
This looks like the perfect excuse to clean things up without the world stupidly burning through its resources in a debt-saturated consumption binge.
This is why you keep your purchasing power in valuable commodities instead of relying on the "Just In Time" economy to always be able to deliver value to make your fiat dollary doos good. Looks like they're getting close to just pulling the plug. And if that's the case you might not get much, if anything, for all your credit assets.

>>
>>62006474
Doesn't matter how much it's devalued, what matters is how much is in circulation, there could be 60 trillion dollars, but if most of that is sitting in the vaults of billionaires then it might as well not exist. People are dead broke and they can't afford these prices, or they're expecting a crash so they're not spending money, the end result is the same.

In the short term prices will go down... and then in 2 or 3 years they'll be hitting new ATH. Buy, hodl and forget about it, find a real hobby.

When silver price drops I end up making more money because I can buy more silver. Better for silver to be at $50 than $120. There are turbulent times ahead and once it happens we'll have to be content with the silver we have because we won't be able to easily afford more.

>why do so many gold only stackers think that lighter and smaller=better?
Because some people are not poor, and once you start wanting to invest at least 50k into a metal, with gold you're looking at slightly over 10 small coins, with silver you're looking at more than 25kg of metal that you need to get a big safe for.
Stacking silver is perfect for people who don't have that much money to invest.

Not to mention this is during a bull run. If we look at 50k in silver from just last summer you would've needed 2000 ounces, which are more than 60kg

Easier to hide, easier to sell. Once a single ounce of gold becomes $10k every transaction has to be reported. In foreign currencies it will be well before 10k.

Also you have to factor in the ease with which you can fake large bullion. I would never buy large bars of gold or silver because it's simply too easy to fill them with lead or tungsten and there's no way to tell without cutting them in half.

They aren't winning. The single largest economic entity in the global economy loses HALF of its tax receipts to interest and if they stop deficit spending by even $1 then they suffer a Great Depression level contraction instantaneously.
Not sure they can do anything to stop any of this due to the exponential nature of it all. Sell all of your credit assets and buy physical.

The monetary fundamentals are rapidly deteriorating. If the U.S. government is losing half its tax receipts to interest and the Fed is eating losses and not remitting funds to the Treaasury then we can safely assume a revaluation will be happening relatively soon. There is no gimmick you can play at this late stage that will avoid the pain that we couldn't have tried back in 2008 when it was more fundamentally sound.
I'm going to enjoy sub $100 silver while I can because it moved to $120 with strength through numerous margin hikes.

People buy gold and silver as insurance for hard times. Many people are suffering hard times right now. So they cash in their insurance - they sell gold and silver because they must. Price goes down because gold and silver are doing what they are supposed to do. Be grateful that your situation does not require cashing in your insurance policy and instead allows you to buy more cheaply. The fundamental case for gold and silver has not changed. Chill.

Because all modern markets are derivatives of derivatives and were invented to let jews make money without ever having to deal with real things. They trade pieces of paper with 'gold' written on them back and forth and then tell you that the price they determine from this trading is what you should sell your metal at.

I tell them thanks, but I hate the antichrist.

Bloomberg has the most reliable financial data on planet earth. Do you know what Bloomberg terminal is?
>>
The Investment Thesis for Silver

J.P. Morgan's acknowledgment of multi-year physical supply deficits provides institutional support for the long-term price thesis, independent of near-term macro volatility driven by geopolitical or monetary factors.
Silver retains macro optionality across both inflationary environments, where it functions as a monetary hedge, and industrial demand growth cycles driven by solar photovoltaics and electronics manufacturing.
High-grade, low-cost producers such as Americas Gold & Silver offer direct margin leverage to silver prices, with a fully funded balance sheet that supports production growth without equity dilution risk across the development timeline.
Development-stage companies such as GR Silver Mining provide resource growth torque through capital-efficient exploration, with secured permits and a preliminary economic assessment serving as near-term re-rating catalysts.
Pre-development reprocessing models such as Cerro de Pasco Resources offer a structurally differentiated cost profile and ESG alignment through tailings remediation, subject to feasibility confirmation.
Price dislocations driven by macro repricing rather than fundamental deterioration create time-bounded entry opportunities for investors with defined cost and quality criteria.

>I understand but it's still a dumb reason not to stack any silver
Not really. You still don't understand me. Silver is useful for its volatility, you buy as much as you can when it's at its floor of 15/20€ oz and then flip it when it's high like we just saw. People who can easily drop 50k-100k and more in gold tend to not have the need for such schemes as they already have a more reliable source of income than hoping the price of silver will go up during a crisis.
Silver will never be a reliable safe-haven asset unless you bought at the literal bottom. Hell, depending on when you get in even gold isn't one as those who bought gold in 1980 have had to wait till 2025 to remake their investments.
And any talks about silver going to the moon at 20000€/oz is just utter retardation from shitcoin aficionados.

>every year 400 million ounces of silver gets turned into bullion or jewelry and gets thrown into storage
About 800,000,000 ozt of silver per year has been mined in the past three or so years.
About 6% goes to making jewelry.
About 47% goes into coins/rounds/bullion.
53% of 800M is 424,000,000 ozt.
Something interesting/disturbing to note: while looking up numbers for this, I found one of the government sources is currently offline ("temporarily unavailable"): pubs.usgs.gov. I downloaded the PDF for 2021 where 24,000 tonnes was the quoted figure for global mining ( 772 million ozt) , so I'm relying on memory for the 800M figure in more recent years.

Absolutely, yes. Libre will also open archaic formats you've probably n ever even seem, such as Quattro Pro for DOS, and Corel. The native save format is ODS, which Excel also opens but you can SaveAs into Excel formats, too.
Caveat: there are some advanced formula functions that Excel has that don't exist in Libre. But it is advanced enough to satisfy my needs vlookup, pivot table, text parsing, importing live financial data (after installing a free extension from Github)...

>>62009933
The problem my dear nigga is that everyone has been panicking and selling like goddamn dumbasses. Worst, these losers are now investing in oil which will drop this weekend (crude is never going above $100 ever again). I think the solution is simple: teach people in school how the stock market works. Everyone that plays in the casino today are dumbasses that do not understand the fundamentals. It is a real problem at the moment.

He is finding most of them raw. That would be such a fun job.

>>62009830
Their tunes are pretty aggressive and run a lot of boost (~40lbs), so it is to help prevent spark blowout when under heavy load (acceleration) which could cause misfires / loss of power / potentially physically breaking the plug which would require rebuilding or at least sleeving the block.
>>
>>62009946
True, they buy silver, memecoins, gme etc,,,,retards desperate to get insta rich instead of doing it the old fashioned way like boomers did,,,then 10 years go by they are still broke losers and dumber than ever blaming the joos
>>
>>62009977
I know you've been in the green for a couple of days, you know what's going on. Ever thought about creating a YouTube channel teaching people how to read the market and how to react to the geopolitical situation?

Checked. You should ring them. It may not be a huge issue for you, but you're right when you say they did not fulfill their end of the 'contract'. I got my silver eagles at 9 weeks in. I have one more order coming (on week 6 now) so we will see how it plays out. Never again though.

Bought 10oz just now. Really hope it goes below $60 so I can drop a shit ton on it.

Going to also start stacking fractional gold for my son to gift him when he's 21.

why do so many silver only stackers think that medium and moderately sized=better?
I like the quantity and feeling the weight, even if the copper stack was 100tns (God I wish mine was) how small does your warehouse have to be for that to be a problem?
also $4000 gold when?

This
Setting a target to exchange Ag/Au for any ratio of any fiat at this point is retarded.
When the time comes people trading with you are not going to figure a small silver transaction in some currency

Goods/Services = portion of shiny
it's a very simple concept
>>
Remember this guy? He sold silver and silver miners just before the big move above $50 to $120, and bought crypto at the top, then didn't get back when he saw it moving up.
>>
>>62006162
another day passes, more money lost
>>
gold support at: $4150, $3700, $3465, $2884
silver support at: $63, $53, $50, $43

if either breaks the lowest ($2884 or $43) then it's joever for a very long time
>>
>use gold and silver to hedge your fiat
>also use fiat to hedge your gold and silver while interest rates are rising
>>
>>62010864
where we're going dollar price doesn't matter
>>
in any case the way to make money in this environment, a large macro scale decline of both assets, inverted etfs GLL and ZSL look to be the clear winners. Gold and silver will continue to bleed as long as the Iran War stuff continues. There is no foreseeable future of peace or resolution to this war. Right now Trump is an insane madman trying to bring about apocalypse

Isn't it weird how they suddenly decided today to fud silver?
>>
>>62011270
Why not both?
>>
Not touching gold or silver with a stick until they are both at 50 and 3200. They are in free fall.
>>
>>62011387
THIS. Silver will be back in the 50's and gold minimum back to 3,500. This is a healthy correction. Let it play out.

>>
>>62011430
I decided that tying up $15k (not everything I saved but still) or so in metals because of irl shit wouldn't be smart despite the fact I could've done it
now that my irl situation is changed and allocating it to that is feasible, I fomo'd a lot of it

Retardedness aside if you buy just buy a little as noone knows if it'll drop more or shoot up;) This way you don't shoot yourself in the foot.

>>
>>62011412
nah m8 we're bouncing from here
the folks betting on silver dropping lost badly
didn't drop enough in time it's too late now
only thing that can keep the price down now is oil war and that possible but less likely over time
