I lost my dad a year ago to the day, I not only received no inheritance, I was saddled with debt because my father took out a credit card in my name trying to help me build credit (I’m in my 20’s) without telling me about it. Never have I once blamed him or been resentful. I relish the opportunity to make my own way without having to rely on the work of a parent to help get me ahead.
