Bearish for the world?
>>
>the stench between a hot woman's ass cheeks after working for 6 hours in the office
>>
I'm going to be reasonable here.

The experts where --- guess what! --- once again nearly entirely wrong.
Just as they were about muh lockdowns during the plandemic and their supposed destructive forces upon the global economy.
>About what this time, anon?
About the importance of the Hormussy to le world economy.
>Why you say that? Oi--
STOP right there! Enough! You said all that and similar during the plandemic and you were soooo sure about it back then also.

Let's look at what's happened so far.
>the Hormussy strait has been at a fraction (about one tenth or less) of its average throughput for at least a full 30 days
>this has lead the S&P 500 to retreat a mere 6 to 7 percent of which nearly half has already been V'eed in the part few trading days
>crude Oil has moved marginally higher, yet not nearly as high as anybody would've expected
Threadly reminder that YOU were throwing insults at people not agreeing with you "$200 crude oil any day now" sperging just days ago.
>all "nowcasting" economical metrics have remained stable and virtually unaffected during this crisis. NOT REFLECTING A ACTUAL HAPPENING OF A CRISIS AT ALL.
>all the outstanding debt and currency remains
>debt markets remaining stable as well

What you can see here clearly:
>NOTHING IS IN CRISIS MODE
B-B-But in the coming da---
>NOTHING. IS. IN. CRISIS. MODE.

Here's what's actually going to happen in a few days:

>Hormussy throughput having found its bottom, starting to retrace back to long term averages
Already verifiably happening. Circumstances of why how and who are wholly irrelevant to this fact.
>Hormussy throughput ain't gonna go back to lows again
How do you know?
Simple! Because every expert, and all the experts Iran has listened to were fucking wrong and a closed Hormussy does FUCK ALL and HURTS NOBODY
-E-X-C-E-P-T-
Iran itself which gets pummeled by bombs and slowly gets their shit kicked in.

(tbc)
>>
I'm thinking futures peak at -2% and go less than 1% down on open
>>
>>62075162
If it’s miners, down. If it’s the price itself, could go either way. The theory is that a lot of funds made a bad bet on interest rates being cut and needed to trim volatile assets when their bets went belly up, hence the liquidation of gold in a time where, otherwise, things would be pushing it upwards (uncertainty and inflation). Also behaving more speculatively because a lot of retail hopped on the hype train this year and they’re still being shaken out. Very hard to predict gold right now. Silver moves with tech stocks more broadly since its value is partially derived from industry, so it depends on market open. Right now gold and silver are moving the same way but I don’t see that being the case in the long term. I would bet anything on either moving in any direction because the market as a whole is trading headlines.
>>
>>62075203 (continued)
Let's face it: Iran is confronted with the most dick-shrinking, butthole-clenching, bullet-sweating sort of circumstances.
>They though they held an ace.
>They played it.
>Nothing happened.
>They got their shit kicked in.
>They thought ANY DAY NOW IT'LL HAPPEN TRUST ALLAH
>It didn't start happening.
>Every additional day will cost them dearly FOR NO GAIN.
FOR NO GAIN.
FOR NO GAIN.

They literally didn't have any cards at all.
They thought they had one, but they thought wrong.

Iran can and will not eat shit for much longer just to keep the Hormussy closed in hope that the HAPPENING will truly HAPPEN in
>X more Y
They're out of Xes and Ys might be infinite.

Whatever they thought that would happen, didn't.
They've got nothing else.

SPX 7000 late April '26.

In fact Israel has not been doing nearly enough shilling.

They are still in rage mode and feel above the need to explain themselves after Oct 7.

We get Israeli shills at 4am who basically just say the repeat the same lines as were espoused by Danny Dannon at the UN
>not a war, a special military operation
>the are the people who chanted "death to America"
>do you want to get nuked?

None of these lines are successful as can be seen from the abysmal polling.

But we in actuality we need Iran to lose.

Persians are not freedom fighters, they are cultural and racial supremacists similar in many ways to Serbs.
Letting them continue on or to be a major emboldened power is bad for everyone.

Israel needs to market the war better, they too live in the world with the rest of us, though anyone who lived through America just after 9/11 will understand their current emotional state after Oct. 7th which I would argue was probably much worse from a national psychology POV.

They have many things going for them that they could use but they are not capitalizing on them at all and seem to be refusing to adjust to a much more agile Iranian shill campaign.

Ah yes, Iran has no government yet it's still functioning, Iran is now completely broken down into decentralised cells yet it can notify the West of targets in advance and successfully coordinate attacks on those targets, Iran is so dencentralised that it's supposedly being run by unknown mid level officers yet according to the US, China is able to give these people information on US assets for Iran to attack, China is also apparently able to identify who they are and where they're located to give them intel

You're a fucking retard who just mindlessly believes the stupidest things that fall apart when you apply even the slightest level of critical thinking

its probably a bull trap, i just dont see the point of trying to call it when the weekly candle closed at the very top of its range. statistically, thats a losing bet, especially right after bouncing from a key inflection point (10% drawdown in spy, oversold daily rsi)
the market doesnt care about a couple planes getting shot down, and war spending is bullish for the economy
beyond the war and geopolitical events, the fed is printing money again, so you can expect that to continue to pull the dollar down and push stocks up this year as well

these are futures on single stocks. if you have a phantom wallet you have perp futures on a bunch of stocks now.

with crypto shitting the bed i guess ppl will want to trade stock pa instead. perps are great and all but you can't hold them for long. that needs to change if they want more adoption
>>
>>62075270
>statistically, thats a losing bet, especially right after bouncing from a key inflection point (10% drawdown in spy, oversold daily rsi)
the payout is greater though. you can have a strategy or style that loses most of the time, but is still profitable overall (positive skew).

also, if you're only basing the statistical odds on the price action alone, that's limited context. but do you have a source on the statistics you're referencing here?

>the market doesnt care about a couple planes getting shot down, and war spending is bullish for the economy
>beyond the war and geopolitical events, the fed is printing money again, so you can expect that to continue to pull the dollar down and push stocks up this year as well
Ok you're going off the deep end a bit here imo and extrapolating into macro patterns etc. The market has demonstrated it does care a lot about the war status and is sensitive to its updates, and rising oil prices are not bullish.
>>62075271
sure, not denying that. but you can only stop the dam from breaking for so long.

>Why not? I know there's a funding rate cost, but that changes depending on the short/long book balance and should net out to zero..

not sure about that .its very path dependent of course but you could be paying 10-40% annualized. this isn't uncommon

long story short if you were pay 1-5% dependent on the leverage and subsequent volatility thats not bad but anything more is unworkable for year plus holds

It has immense price rise qwelling pressures on stuff like that though with it being food; e.g. if the price started rising too much the government would tend to just drop taxes and increase grants related to it.

Iran has various infra red anti air systems. This is common knowledge.
No, planes can't detect it like radar.
It doesn't cover the whole country. Same as any nation. You protect the assets.
Planes that are shot down don't tend to land where they were hit.
The search is happening far away from the air defence region that took down the initial target. It's also at low altitude so is difficult to target.

They use a jet engine instead of a rocket, the former which burns colder and longer but has less thrust. They have a relatively light warhead (10lg, supposedly) which explains why the F-35 didn't get vaporized like a Buk (60kg) would

they were being flown on regular (like to the minute) sorties with literally identical flight paths, and one guy tracked it over a couple of days and shot down ONE (1) F-117 that he effectively already knew would be there (and when)

not unimpressive at all but acting like it was a defeat of the radar stealth makes people posting this meme look retarded. even knowing where it was and when the guy still had a very difficult time getting a lock on the plane

Pic related. This is seriously one of the most innovative AA missiles fielded by anyone right now. The US, Russia or China don't have anything comparable. And yet even after that lesson the propaganda has been that stealth jets are literally invincible. Everywhere in comment sections you can see people confidently stating the F-22 has 0.000000 whatever 0001 m^2 rcs, when the source for that figure was a magazine interview where a pilot compared the F-22 to a ball bearing and the journalist guessed its' RCS from that. Leaving aside that RCS is not a single value but varies depending on where you look at the plane from, people have now come up with confident RCS figures for any stealth plane based on that retarded guess. Sure, what normies think doesn't matter, until your government and army are filled with these normies and nobody can get the truth cause it's top secret hurr dur

>Observe good faith and justice towards all nations; cultivate peace and harmony with all religion and morality enjoin this conduct; and can it be that good policy does not equally enjoin it? It will be worthy of a free, enlightened, and, at no distant period, a great nation, to give to mankind the magnanimous and too novel example of a people always guided by an exalted justice and benevolence. Who can doubt that in the course of time and things the fruits of such a plan would richly repay any temporary advantages which might be lost by a steady adherence to it? Can it be, that Providence has not connected the permanent felicity of a nation with its virtue? The experiment, at least, is recommended by every sentiment which ennobles human nature. Alas! is it rendered impossible by its vices?

I've implemented a few indicators there and don't mind it. Some ATR/volatility bands and forecasting stuff. One thing I really like is how "Series" is a list of float values. Pic shows how silver is possibly going to trend up (blue into yellow line), especially if it closes above, then has a retracement and finds support above that gray line (at 74)... it suggests that by July, it'll range between 56 to 66, based on mean reversion

But I don't like paying for subscriptions, despite how good tview, is in general, as a platform. My main goal is to port over mine and other classic indicators and do deep backtesting on it in various market regimes, not quite ML, but enough to get a rough idea on what strategies suck (eg a classic 20>50 sma cross, that sorta shit). Eventually I might try to move into ML, and I'm trying to structure it all as series of floats from 0..1 stuff as well

Honestly I don't expect any of it to be fruitful but at least I'm not smoking weed and collecting funkos

ML has many theoretical advantages, including that it's as greedy and dumb as the average investor. I swear training a neural network is the same as training a rabid hungry dog. Probably by the time you'll implement it the field will have advanced, but guaranteeing neural networks' behavior in all scenarios is still a major research direciton.

Oh yeah, also training it on live data since you don't want a boomer to be trading down the line. Neural networks tend to forget everything they've learned before a certain point if the data gets too different.

It's actually better if there's just enough noise, adding a bit of noisiness during training makes the model more resilient. That the market has too much noise even for that says a lot, ML can burn through a fair bunch of noise with a large enough dataset

Given that nothing major has happened so far, if nothing else happens (as per the baseline), it should be reasonably flat or moderately up I'm guessing.
