Weren't they supposed to be striking Iran this weekend and double-triple-quadruple fucking the strait permanently?
I was hoping that would happen because it would be great for markets.

For the first time, China has invoked a 2021 law to order all companies and individuals within China's jurisdiction to not comply with recent US sanctions on 5 Chinese refiners.

If both sides insist on enforcement, this could blow up in a major way.

Oh, and check it out; Critical Metals might be a good buy Monday, they are merging with the other company (European Lithium) that owns the other half of the rights to Tanbreez so a US Government backed company will actually own Greenland. They are up +700% for the last year, when they announced the US government share they spiked to +1000% for a moment.

I’m gonna ask this question here because I believe /smg/ anons are smarter than me.
Why are defence stocks like Boeing, RTX and Lockheed Martin (any DARPA-heavy company) going down?
In my opinion, they should be steadily climbing up. The Iran war has showcased how the US could easily destroy a country overnight if it wanted to. It is far ahead in military capabilities than any of its competitors and allies.
We have the F-47 and the Columbia class nuclear submarine coming up. And this is just stuff that has been revealed, who knows what other alien level tech they have.

I am quite American fren, i actually own land near potential US RE deposits in Maine.

Critical Metals was a $0.25 before the US Government was involved. Six months later they were at $28. Long term growth they have no end in sight and the instant there is a problem with China they will moon.

LAC is doing great and they don't actually mine anything yet, now is the time to stack it. LAC will moon with or without a war. Same with Uranium stocks (DNN is dirt cheap) although they have separate profile, growth, no debt and physical reserves worth huge amounts.

A key factor for Uranium companies like DNN and CCJ is that they are locked into long term contracts and have big stockpiles (combined the two have 15,000K bombs worth of Uranium) so they escape rapid price swings. Unlike other commodity supply industries that have to deal with day to day events they don't, just general market swings.

Imagine this for a moment: A debt free oil producer who had an infinite ability to store production at a low storage cost AFTER they removed secondary refining by products like Sulphur and sold those to cover operating costs. They could save up years, even decades of production and chose the exact moment to sell whenever they want. That is what DNN and CJJ do but with yellowcake not oil and in DNNs case Vanadium not Sulphur as a secondary revenue stream.

They all seem to be on an upswing, what's the "blow-up" ETA? 2-5 years would be my guess if there's really a move to nucular and an emerging demand for EVs.

Honestly saw massive crime flow on friday am like I hadn't seen on any ticker in a long tine and just slammed it, I don't care about the financials. Citrini hard shilled it after close which confirms the coordinated pump to me. The meta is dino companies resurrecting and pumping to new highs like intel and amd, and nokia is basically an ai/photonics co AND a memestock so why not pump it to the heavens.

Any time I have ever tried to trade on fundamentals, cagr, revenue, value plays, whatever, I've always gotten booty blasted vs if I'd just turned my brain off and shoved into the hot sexy memeable momo play.

>>
>>62184229
(Continued)
For big companies (CCJ especially) they have very simple financials compared to almost anything else. CCJ has $7.5 billion in physical assets just from the yellowcake. They don't need to worry about getting loans or covering unexpected costs; 22 million lbs of uranium is one hell of a bit of collateral. Typically they make their clients (like Governments) give them favorable loans or just tell them to give them money to lock in a supply contract. Lithium companies do this as well, LAC just told GM to give them $650 million and they would lock in a supply contract for all their EVs. Since it is predicated on future prices GM immediately agreed, companies like DNN and CCJ can do the same thing but they already have the material on hand unlike LAC. LAC is a special case because their future production is all but assured even without the US Government owning part of them, the Government investment just makes it better..

Have you just for a moment considered that maybe you (an unsophisticated dilettante) are wrong in thinking there is objectively reason to deem the market overvalued? Why shouldn't a company with near-zero marginal cost like most Mag 7 be valued at a higher PE than one that literally just pumps oil out of the ground with razor-thin margins, like ExxonMobil, which was the biggest company in early Clinton and the Bush years?
