Whether people are using it is not even the relevant argument. People are using it.
The problem with AI is that nobody can monetize it. All these AI companies are trying to create a product that companies become dependent on so that they can enshittify it later, but none of them can actually achieve that.
The moment any of them tries to create a closed ecosystem, users go to one of the others, or they run AI locally. This is what people mean when they say there is no path to profitability.
You're a bear and you don't even understand why you're bearish.

I've been reading what you're been saying about LAC and DNN but I'm curious as to what you see in them. Mining companies in general seem to be in for a tough time with crude oil going up and with it likely to get only worse for a long time. I read how you said that DNN sits on reserves so that they can sell when they want and just cover operating costs in the short term but I don't see the path to explosive profitability.

It looks like their success would be contingent in large part upon data centers moving to nuclear energy. There's still so much negative sentiment around nuclear energy though. I would get behind it as a diversification strategy but if their success is indirectly linked to AI, that just concentrates more risk in everyone's portfolio since that's probably where a lot of us are already investing, even for people just DCAing into S&P500 index funds.

My belief is that the split second trade normalizes domestic mining and refining will be abandoned for 3rd world jeet labor as there is nothing our corporate overlords love more than slave labor. They would rather kill their host nations than let go of those precious margins.
>>
>>62185746
If there are domestic reserves to be exploited, then I have faith that at worst, foreigners will just be brought in to do the dirty work for lower costs. With respect to the industry as a whole, I don't know that I fear outsourcing as much as I just don't see a path to profitability and even in the long term, I don't see most mining companies beating most other potential investments.

You should not buy a car at all if you can avoid it. The entire industry is fucked and being sustained by debt and loans that are being stretched longer and longer so that people stay in perpetual negative equity while prices keep increasing.

LAC is the USA's 'hail Mary' play to have Lithium independency and it will not fail. LAC will not fail because it's the US Governments bet. DNN is the same but they have no debt and 1300 bombs worth of reserves. LAC will not ever not be profitable nor will CJJ. 15,000 bombs worth of reserves (DNN and CJJ combined) are not something you bet against. They have close to 25 million lbs of Uranium as a physical reserve, it is a huge amount of loan collateral.

It's enough to make 15,000 atomic bombs if that puts '25 million lbs of uranium ore' in perspective.

You have given me some food for thought but I still have a feeling that the real profitability will come from countries investing more into the energy sector rather than a heavy demand for more bombs. Also if prices are going to be cyclical, then we might see another repeat of 2007-2008. If that does happen, I guess that now is still a good time to buy but a 20 year recovery is pretty damn rough.

>foreign ministry officials have told the US that it must choose between an "impossible military operation" or a "bad deal" (for the US), setting a 30-day deadline for the US to lift its naval blockade of Iranian ports
So why does the market believe a peace deal is imminent when Iran's new 14-point proposal is asking for maximalist demands and not even willing to negotiate its nuclear program at all now, Iran firmly believes they have all the cards, does the market actually believe Trump will take a terrible deal that accomplishes none of his stated goals while giving up control of the region?

Lithium and Uranium will never not be profitable in your or my lifetime. DNN and LAC are the entry points for this and probably the last time we can enter into that and profit.

Alien disclosure is coming. Picture is AI gen'd but the disclosure this summer is legit.

Main problem governments are trying to plan for is disruption from hardcore religious elements, grifters, midwits and low IQs, etc. This is why energy lockdowns, digital IDs and internet restrictions and so on are coming soon. Iran war is just a cover, eliminating birds with one stone (get rid of Shia extremist power center and excuse for global energy lock down).

So how do we profit off of this?

I'm pretty sure they taught us in the past, but the majority have forgotten. You can find remnants in Buddhist and Hermetic thinking. Consciousness and computability are fundamental to reality (panpsychist model), matter and energy are emergent (Wheeler's "It from Bit"), God and the Multiverse are the same thing. It's not the Christian-Jewish conception of God. We're all a part of reality, and therefore a part of God. Our purpose is just to observe and enjoy the ride. That's it.

Alan Watts was right.

Show me one (I) shift in the PPC made possible by AI.

One major discovery or real gain, other than in a share price simply by saying "we do AI" now.

A single major increase in either tangible physical goods or intellectual capital that was only possible through the use of AI.

Show me 1.
A wheeled cart could carry the load of 10 men on day 1.

If you took AP US History and got a 4 or 5 (not) tretard, you'd know that UFOs were a soviet ploy to clog up US reporting networks and law enforcement.

Later they were co opted by glowies as a carrot to lead schizos away from skunkworks.

In covid they got employed as a means of calming the proles.
The literal poster boy for the modern UFO craze and leader of the disclosure push Elizondo is an ex CIA disinfo agent and this is public knowledge public on wikipedia.

they've produced nothing between the two of them in over a decade, not a single FDA approved drug, and every compound in their drug pipeline has been known about for 40 years.

I am also making a mobile game with basically zero programming experience and zeronUniry experience and itnis turning out to look pretty decent after about 30 hours. I haven't written a single line of code and I barely understand the code it is wirting at all. I just tell it to nitate everything thoroughly and it does. I just tell it what to do. I'm not even using a coding AI like claude code and chatgpt can juggle my 10+ scripts that it created and iterates when I tell it to. It tells me.how to do everything. Copy and paste errors, it fixes them. Sure, I have to catch some things on my own, but it's actually pretty amazing, probably AI's most useful area.

i just dont really feel like the AI bubble is going to only hurt the ones investing it in. I think most of the stock market will tank. Just look at the beta. every index just moves where the tech companies move. When they dump, so does the market. If every stock is tumbling, there isnt any reason to own anything. The best way through a bear market is cash. If berkshire knows this and follows suit, why own a company that owns treasuries and not the treasuries yourself? This does hinge on the market dumping as AI does, which seems plausible. its the only thing propping it up at this point. most stocks look expensive and macroeconomics look rougher ever year.

>the Joint Maritime Information Center said Monday that the U.S. had set up an “enhanced security area” south of typical shipping routes and urged mariners to coordinate closely with Omani authorities “due to anticipated high traffic volume.” The strait sits between Iranian and Omani territory.

So just north of Oman using the same route that French and Japanese ship exited from a few weeks ago which means the US didn't clear any mines
>>
>>62186430
and thats a good thing you really want all that freaking oil in the gulf
>>
>>62186474
>here's a safe route
>they didn't clear any mines!
?
>>
>>62186481
yeah, they left a safe path near their coast so they can let their allies through and shoot rockets at everyone else. They let everyone through for a little while at the start of the ceasefire
>>
>>62186481
It's a route that's been safely used numerous times before, including by Maltese cruise ships when those 20 odds ships broke out when Araghchi posted the strait was open, so given that it's clear that area is not mined

Lithium should drop a bit when silicon-carbide batteries become prevalent. They contain even more lithium than lithium-ion batteries, but they don't have "lithium" in the name which is very important for lithium prices.

On the contrary I'm really annoyed to be sitting on my hands with only 60% of my port deployed because I have to hedge the orange retard.
I should be balls deep in this earnings season.

Its only irrational if irans incentive was economic not cultural and militarily, which as the IRGC seems to be the ones calling the shots the current situation is not irrational at all

The fact they have been visibly mining it from satellite for the past 2 weeks with no US response makes me doubt this
>>
what's with the blatant american propaganda before monday open? do jews want to dump bags before dead zogbots hit the news?
>>
>>62186554
They're letting Iran waste their mines. They already have a secure route for ships to take.
>>
>>62186556
Even Barack (new peace deal news before market open) ravid said on CNN today that he believes the negotiations cannot be bridged and that a resumption of armed conflict is likely

the one right next to the Iranian coastline?
>>
>>62186558
Yeah… through Iran
>>
>>62186553
exactly. if the usa could have prevented some who knows what nation from carrying out an actual attack on oil supply lines they would. it's been up for a minute. men will die, prices will go up for the masses and a lot of jews got wealthy
>>
>>62186561

>>
>>62186567
You mean where Iranian gunboats where captured laying mines?
>>
>>62186570
Not according to their intel which can easily detect mines
>>
>>62186571
The same one that said it was being mined?

also the fed literally printed billions, there's no outcome from those events where stock markets don't get dumped by actual wealthy cohorts

lmao the government is keeping stocks up before zogbots die precisely because they'll die anyway
>>
>>62186573
do you understand that there can both be mines in the strait and a safe route to take simultaneously or do you need another drool rag

so anyways berkshire has to keep a defensive stance, they are not only an insurer but a reinsurer, they have constant catastrophe risk on their books. this forces them into more conservative securities that have very deep liquidity, so your take of them as an investment bank really isn't true, it's a financial institution but it's on the opposite end of the spectrum of what an investment bank does, they clean up messes mostly.
the most important thing about berkshire right now though is their ownership of bnsf. there was a major east-west rail merger, when before us rail was split into 4 quadrants basically, bnsf handles the southwestern corridor, but now that there's a cross country carrier, they have to either divest, which will be extremely difficult and i don't think they want to do, or buy another railroad, which the market is aware of and they are going to demand a very high price, otherwise that asset will eventually become a drag as it gets outcompeted by union pacific. berkshire is in a bad spot right now, loaded with legacy businesses in an investment boom. but if you really are bearish but want to stay in the game, it's the right bet for you. you know i feel differently though dear.
