Those who did, hoa long did it take you to learn how to trade?

Do you think you just got lucky making the right picks or were you sure that you made the right choices?

But from a CEOs perspective who wants their companies share price to increase as much as possible wouldn't they want the original quarterly reports rather then semi annual reports, does this new ruling stop them from doing quarterly reports? i wonder how many if that is the case will opt to continue with quarterly reports due to more volatility in their stock price.
>>
>>62193390
This guy gets it. And this is why I told for weeks to buy oil companies, not fucking oil itself. The best part is how manipulating the price of oil makes it so oil will stay at a comfortable 90-110 range for months and months, instead of letting it go to 150 or whatever absurd price for 3 weeks.
Which is infinitely better for oil companies.
My Equinor and Anker are printing. Love how they don't give a FUCK about daily oil prices.
Oil up? they're up reasonably
Oil down? They're up reasonably
Oil doing nothing? They're up reasonably
Comfiest trade knowing I'm on the right side of the trade. You sleep very well.

About 4/5ths of my holdings are stocks, i've been doing it seriously for a year. The one thing i know about trading is that i don't know shit so i keep things simple and invest not only in a few specific industries but one geographic location. I don't trust myself with the market at large or complex investment instruments so i keep it focused on something narrow enough that i can keep it in view.
>>
>>62193402

my thoughts exactly, although i would imagine sharp drops in share prices if a company suddenly switches from Quartey to semi as the market would probably price it as something be up with their earnings

The same bobos that say that China will win because they think 50 years in the future are now crying that companies can do a semi annual report rather than a quarterly report.
The only thing that I'm going to miss are the massive discounts that subscription companies would hand out near the end of the quarter to juice their quarterly numbers if they elect to go the semi annual route.

I think we are about to see a 10-20% correction
All my stocks are up 300% to 46% in the last 12 months. The shiller CAPE is oo high and valuaions are oo high accross all sectors, theer is lile or no good value in he market and even if emporar oil prices and inflation will result in a bearish fed, deferring hopes of interest rate cuts and with even a possibility of interest rate rises, which would be enough to cause a tumble. Tell me if you think I am wrong or right. I am moving to cash out of oil and seleced tech and mining building a cash pile so to be positioned for it. Likley mid summer. We have had all we are getting from this market for he year (and that has been quite good) but it is going to correct after which some stocks may be value again.

6th month straight. The biggest demand the world has from the US and its ever expand trade deficit. Is not goods (they don’t make anything the world wants). It’s payment in real money for goods.

The demand for credit dollars is drying up very quickly. Accelerating.

if you don't vividly remember the 90's you have no conception of what this country is like in boom times. if you think the stock market or economy of the last 20 years has been anything normal, you're very wrong. if you're shaking your head in disbelief, you need to stop managing your own money, you're hurting yourself. america is finally healing, this isn't a bubble, that comes later and trust me people are in much better spirits when it is. it's a mean reversion.

Well if the market was not so overvalued and the shiller PE were not so excessive, it might not matter so much but right now it's a match on dry tinder. If I am taking 50-300% gains then it's time to sit back because this is going to top out. >Genoa and the Casa di San Giorgio (Bank of Saint George), founded in 1407.

>After the war with Venice, Genoa couldn’t pay its many creditors, so the state consolidated its fragmented debts into the Casa, which issued tradeable shares (luoghi) backed by pledged tax revenues. Those revenues had priority rights that superseded later government decrees — meaning the bank effectively became senior to the Genoese state itself. Over time, as Genoa’s finances kept deteriorating (debasement, war debts, fiscal crises), the Casa ended up administering colonies, collecting taxes, and running large parts of the Republic’s actual machinery of government. Machiavelli famously remarked on the oddity of a state-within-a-state where the bank had become more powerful than the government that chartered it.

Little know fact: Many Chinese copper producers are making up to 1/3rd their income on inflated Sulphur prices, much like sour crude companies. The lack of consumer confidence and uncertainty has lowered the amount of copper being used however they are going all out because of the Sulphur price hike. So when the wars end there may be a period where people think increased spending will boost copper but the overcapacity might crab it a bit before demand catches up.

This is the first time this has ever happened using claude 2ish hours a day for several years, so I’d say mildly concerned

The mortality of 50% is somewhat normal for hanta, but we will need to see how many are infected.

Bullish:
Hanta is mostly transmitted by rodents
At least publicly there haven’t been a bunch more cases like the Covid ship
This is the only known outbreak rn
The infected are all from different countries meaning it’s a this one ship thing

Bearish:
7/147 is quite high virulence wise
It is somewhat unlikely that a ship where tickets cost between 10-50k is crawling with rats cooking in people mouths

Every GPU needs at least 4 RAM sticks and 8 SSDs to support it so MU should be NVDA x4 and SNDK should be x8 and since NVDA is a $200 stable coin MU should go to $800 and SNDK to $1600.

That's harsh. There is one thing that worries me about the sector which is some of them are trying to imitate tech bullshit like starting a company just for the sole purpose of getting bought out. I have a vague worry about CCJ doing this to DNN but i think CCJ wants to keep DNN around to provide the illusion that CCJ isn't a monopoly.

i'm just telling you at the moment foundries are being rerated and there is more demand for non-gpu chips. nvidia is a great stock but it's not gonna be a top stock of the moment, it's not even a gpu/ram/cpu story if we're being real, it's a foundry moment. it will pass and nvidia will be top dog again, but probably '27 or '28. training is extremely expensive and they've probably pushed the limits for this iteration of gpu, wait until gpus are being made on 14a and then they'll be buying again.
>>
>>62194287
Why would gpus pump when the demand constraint is in ram and cpus right now, chud?

At current prices if my math is correct about $375,000 worth of DNN would in theory make you enough of a owner in their company that technically you would own an atomic bombs worth of yellowcake.

So buy a share DNN instead of a coffee tomorrow even if it is just a few shares, it's fun.

You know those ads that say 'for only $4 a day you can sponsor this starving African child' and all that? Buy DNN instead and fuck that kid.
