I’m beginning to believe the gold correction is done for and we’re aiming for $6000 oz soon. Tell me why I am wrong!? Even high oil doesn’t scare gold anymore. Silver obviously doesn’t give a fuck anymore and May may very well be a mega bull run for silver as comex squeezes.

>>62218825This is what I am thinking, or alternatively if someone publishes a paper claiming that AI suddenly can't get any better anymore.Surely though these companies in the supply chain can only produce so much, and therefore only sell so much, right? >>62218907IPOs have been disastrous for people that bought them early. The winning move has been to wait 3 years after IPO before buying for IPOs historically. If Anthropic and OpenAI are up after 3 years, they would be an extreme anomaly. The odds of it working out well are slim. I expect Anthropic and OpenAI to be multi trillion dollar companies shortly after the IPO. Imagine buying them when they're valued at 5 trillion. And all you get, when you buy them, is the model and their ecosystem for serving their model. If anybody else has the compute, with a better model OpenAI and Anthropic get demolished. They're on such a shaky foundation. Theres no customer loyalty with AI either. If there's someone with a better then that has the compute to serve the customers, then customers switch over.
THIS RALLY HAS TO END

>>62218930>Imagine buying them when they're valued at 5 trillion.I know you're right about this, but imagine all the money that will flow from MU to OAI. I don't think any position will be safe.At first I was thinking the right play might be to hold cash and remain stoic as the hype train plows through its dramatic climax. But is it really wise to forgoe the 10, 20, 50% that they may rise in the very short term? Is there some balance to be struck between long-term holding and never touching it with a 39 and a half foot pole?

this is kind of interesting. DRAM down more than the weighted average of its top 3 holdings
uhm achkshually i voted for higher gas prices, libtard
I was looking at photonics stocks over the weekend, doing some DD, and decided to buy asap but didnt have the funds yet today because it takes a day for my broker to settle the cash, and AAOI already shot up by 25% today recovering from the earnings dip. Fucking hell man are there no breaks to this bull train
our boy broke $200 today
So now that the memory play is dead, is silver the next big thing?
>>62218955I'm not letting go of semis until earnings start stalling, and they're not stalling. I might put 2% each of Antrhopic and OpenAI in my portfolio to them at IPO if I put anything loland Im very heavily weighted toward AI. If anything, when all the money flows into OpenAI and Anthropic itll be an excellent opportunity to double down on Google and Amazon.I alreayd have Google and Amazon in my core portfolio, theyre AI plays as well and solid very profitable companies. And they're much safer bets. I also think Google, not Anthropic or OpenAI is going to win the AI race. The AI race is going to turn into a spending frenzy, with companies slugging it out for years to undercut each other as they try to squeeze out every little bit of compute they can that is increaingly more expensive. Google has much more endurance to beat the frontier model companies at spending because they have such a profitable core business. No, I wouldn't hold cash.
>>62218976Datacenters and mstr

>>62218982there's def less liquidity on DRAM vs regular hours...I mean it seems like at least 100bp discount to NAV (rough eyeball) overnight. Not sure to make of it
>>62218978it'll be too late, hardware prices will crater before earnings stall. then come the asset impairments. the very first company to dump those impairments onto the tape and it'll be a -33% flush across the board within a week. i would say it would start to get priced before earnings but probably not given passive flows and froth. look forward to it
How does 560 per month into stocks sound? Its all I can really afford.
>>62219008I know everybody is planning to get out wen earnings slowIt's just not happening anytime soon. Earnings are going to keep growing for years to come. Demand for compute s going to rise, not fall. The big risk is when the semis start undercutting each other. Not demand falling.

>>62218978What makes you so sure that earnings will stall at all? A sharp ricochet is likely as well. Wall street and retail investors alike are terrified, and will race to bail with their plunder at the first whiff of trouble. I think this means the end will be swift, as is the fate of most major rallies.>I also think Google, not Anthropic or OpenAI is going to win the AI race.I agree, but that is a longer term matter than these IPOs.
>>62219023Invest as much as you can afford to not touch for years, and not a penny more. 560 being a lot or not depends on your economy. If an emergency expense of being a weak handed bitch will force you to sell, invest less
>actual V in AH
>>62219013this is delusional to me. theoretically if passive flows continue and the admin can have the banks forgo risk boundaries then the capex can also continue which is the entirety of the compute demand. assumes all else equal, way too many plates to spin imo, i don't know what else left they can resort to that won't spook everybody. bond vol looks like it could break again. nice port though

The benchmark Kospi index sank as much as 5.1%, then pared losses after Kim clarified he wanted to tap into “excess tax revenue” generated from the AI boom rather than roll out a new windfall tax on corporate profits. I havent even been able to use Mythos or GPT Spud yet, and those are the next generation models.AI capabilities aren't slowing down. Right now, where models are they're capable of handling complex programming, engineering, or scientific tasks. They're not just toys anymore. And this is just the beginning. With even more compute, the AI companies will be able to deploy even more capable models. Right now, were the frontier models are, they're beyond human capabilities. They can handle tasks that take someone to be an expert n multiple technical fields to accomplish. Even Deepseek V4 is great. And its run for dirt cheap on old A100s. The latest number is up 40% in 24 days, based on pre-IPO trading data tied to instruments listed on Jupiter. The same data puts Anthropic’s implied value up 1,067% since October 2025. The pre-IPO instruments on Jupiter are backed 1:1 by SPV exposure, so the trades are being used as a live read on where investors think Anthropic could land when it finally goes public.Still tracking the Fat Man to SpaceX's Little Boy.The clock drifts inevitably towards midnight.

The way Nvidia restructured sales is the future. Also, its happening right now. Consumer oriented companies are getting decimated by falling revenues.A lot of companies wouldn't survive this like Walmart, that have mass manufacture and distribution economies of scale. A lot of companies would survive the death of the consumer and GDP would go up.Keep believing you're going to be safe because they still need people to buy shit. They dont. Most people have very high opinions of themselves, especially high is their opinions of their capabilities. They're not special. 90% of white collar workers could be replaced by AI right now, and the AI would do a better job in most cases.
>>62219388>>62219427Also, I forgot one other thing. Self interest. People with jobs that are most under threat by AI, hate AI the most and heavily rail against it. They're just saying what serves their interests. Literally all of them, when they come into work, complain constantly to their bosses about how bad AI is. Because they feel the second that their boss thinks AI brings more value to the company than they do, they're gone.

Why are AI companies being priced like they have a mainline to God? Their long term profit profile is sorta shitty desu, basically any company/organization with access to US CPUs and GPUs can build a model and cut into their market share, and since it’s still evolving tech ease of training a LLM could make barrier of entry even lower. Additionally since a LLM will be influenced by whoever does its basic coding/training, it really does incentivize companies/organizations/governments to train their own to avoid relying on a competitor for what will become a basic service in the future. I think the companies that make the components that make AI possible will keep increasing in value (though they’re in a cyclical bubble right now) as well as companies developing in house AI that they can pair with exist services they sell, but the long-term prospect of pure-play AI companies that rely on subscription/contract model seems really bad to me.

They haven't thought this through.

they're putting out "actually AI is bad" stories again so the market will dump for a few days ahead of options expiry. However BIG PLAYERS have bets that Micron won't fall below 600 dollars this week, so it might get pushed down to fuck retail bulls but will hold that line, and if it does I will buy a lot and they will pump the shit out of it to fuck retail bears.
People think AI s a bubble and its going to crash hardIm not saying there wont be dips or big dips but its going to keep going right back upnow is a good tme to get in, even at new all time highs.
