the trick is to stop drinking a few hours before you go to sleep. that way your smart watch doesn't count the thermic effect of alcohol as part of your sleep and then you wake up feeling better because the watch said so.

what the fuck is this https://www.moltbook.com/
>>
>>62784228

Price is set in Shanghai now not London or Chicago.

They can sell all the paper they want. China closed $4,146 Gold and $63.64 Silver. All that happens now is the physical market over there. Arbitrages COMEX and LBMA synthetic Gold/Silver and drains the metal east. Hence the huge continuous Chinese buying.

If they drive silver to $40. The physical market over there will just say thank you very much. Stand for delivery at LBMA and gobble it all up.

The squeeze will just cause a sudden uptick to a new base soon enough. Overshoot and rinse repeat. This is the current pattern and flow of the metals.

Large western players are also using it to accumulate physical positions. Sell the paper. Take the physical. Any losses will be made whole on the next leg many times over. They know what’s happening.

You will have to have the stomach for this volatility though or you will miss the sudden price surges up to new bases.
>>
>>62784238

No actual gold is being sold. It’s buy buy buy. The paper is though. And they keep creating new short positions out of thin air. The magic of “rehypothication”.

Investors buy paper gold/silver when they're told its a good time to buy, then sell it the instant they fuck up elsewhere. Governments then buy the physical at discount prices. Its also the only asset I see discussed here where it goes beyond memes and shitposting, some people genuinely are trying to get others not to buy it at all costs, or at least divert them into the paper trap.

The paper game will go the way of the dodo. The new Hong Kong vaulting system is eating the LBMAs lunch. All bars allocated. No margin. You buy a bar you pay for a full bar. Fully physical. Serial numbers. Inspection allowed.

The world is sniffing out. The US and London don’t have the gold to back the paper claims. It’s gone full on ponzi.

Everyone's in on it and that's not even the problem. The system was made for growth. If you tie down paper money to limited physical rocks, you limit growth. The issue is out of control spending, debt, and complete lack of accountability.
>>
>>62784294
Old news, shut the fuck up

That's the issue with excessive growth, eventually the bloated credit system skews prices too far due to the infinite money glitch not hitting the economy evenly enough.

Yes. But if you completely untie debt and paper from root money. Aka money with NO COUNTER PARTY RISK. And. You get yourself into a debt/bond crisis situation.

You have no ammunition to defend the currency system from collapse. The Chinese aren’t proposing a gold standard at all. Just that gold resumes its role as Tier 1 HQLA. Can be collateralised, Repo’d. Used for settling of international trade imbalances. Can’t be SANTIONED or STOLEN at a whim or sold off in US UK vaults in secret.

Fraction reserve systems work. But when you push it too far it’s identical in structure to a ponzi. If the gold isn’t there. And I don’t think it is. And the bond crisis comes which is a crisis of confidence in the countries paper money. AKA debt/credit. The only final settlement asset. Globally fungible left to defend a collapse is gold. Always has always will.

Yes. And when the credit bubble collapses. Where does the “value” run to? What asset class has the ability to absorb unlimited value? Portable. University accepted? And this is the mother of all credit bubbles.

Why do you think central banks have been loading up for 5 years? They ain’t stupid. The US is stuck. Because it’s the global reserve currency. And addicted to being able to create the world money from nothing. No other county can do this. And thus you can export all your inflation to the world. But it’s like a drug. You get addicted and abuse it. So now they can’t afford to accumulate gold. Because it would necessitate the flow out of the world’s debt reserves (Treasuries). And a sudden massive devaluation (technical default). Much pain. But it would get competitive again.

The powerful don’t want the gravy train and wars to end.

What is the mood on DRAM (korean memory) in the next couple of months? Last time I played with options was back during Liberation Day, and I came out ahead and just took my winnings back to safety. This year I've been up quite a lot on SaaS stock picks, which was obviously a bearish AI bet since those stocks were getting beaten over the story that they'd be vibecoded out of existence. But yesterday I sold my weakest winner, Adobe, because I don't really want to hold it long term anyways.

I took that money and dove back into options, decided I wanted to gamble on DRAM calls for late November and some leaps for late spring. The shit has tanked even more off of I dunno what, Koreans jumping out of office windows or something. I dont have any intention of selling the November calls literally a day later, but I'm questioning whether I should double down on the leaps as a softer bullish bet seeing the price dump to its lowest point since July. All indicators seem to point to continued memory constraints into at least 2028, and I think the state of the industry now is less about whether AI is just going to disintegrate and more whether the industry will be dominated by the frontier cloud providers or by hardware designed for local models to do specific tasks. Either way, innovation and buildout of memory is going to be necessary, so I dont see these companies collapsing to a cyclical low at the levels we'd expect when the industry catered to like, gamers and media workstations.

Not yet. On the pyramid of "how hard is it to enter the market" memory is at the bottom. They'll likely go for CPUs after and then GPU's.

Like don't get me wrong they're going for all of them, but it'll probably be a full decade before they have competitive GPU's but they are already moving from DDR4 to DDR5 for memory
>>
>>62784442
I actually already hold MU now that I'm currently up +54% on and I ain't selling that shit nor should you.
Right now I'm looking into neoclouds. Maybe even some space stuff. If I'm not happy with the deals on those I'll probably dump it into MU.

And no, China shouldn't worry you, they still aren't at production for HBM.

Long natural gas

Long natural gas today

You could see a 10x here.

You're getting it for rock bottom price

Bottom is already in this summer, and it's up like 10% since summer low. It bounced.

Natural gas is currently at $11.22

During the last boom cycle three years ago,
it was at $120

It could hit $120 again.

What's most amusing is they are just doing the Japanese golden age trick. A command economy where the government works with the banks and corporations for max employment, growth, and benefit to society as a whole. They literally sit down and go "okay, we need to get into this industry. Whose the best for this? How do we pull this off? Lets get them funding"
It's simple yet effective. They don't really care if the memory company or the solar company or the ev company is unprofitable because they know that its an industry that will eventually take off.

You're misunderstanding the market. Memory is higher risk which will lead to higher volatility. So if there's a hint of uncertainty in the market, memory will get assblasted because of the higher implied volatility. Semis and memory are still printing (check out ASML and TSMC recent reports). Trying to make of sense of the market based on revenue when there's uncertainty is meaningless.

>If you tie down paper money to limited physical rocks, you limit growth.
Incorrect.
The US had its largest period of economic growth in history, the 1800s, based on a stable if not deflationary currency.
It even had a civil war and still set the world record for economic growth.
A big reason why China has been so successful is they copied a lot of systems from 1800s American capitalism.
Fiat as it stands now is just institutionalized coin clipping.
Did all that printing they did during covid result in real, sustainable, non-nominal growth? Nope. In fact it’s about to cause a couple of contractions.
