Have any of you read this series? There's not much of it available in english, but what I managed to read made me pretty depressed. The characterization of the other girls is pretty bizarre, and I'm not sure I really think Mami would be like this in her 30s, but it's really sad seeing her so miserable regardless.
>>4342108It's a slice of life comedy series that, predictably, focuses on the sides of characters that the author figured had the most potential for situational comedy. Mami being somewhat of a goofball and not 100% on the ball for everything is admittedly something that came out more in spinoffs like The Different Story, but all the same, the majority of the characterization of her that we get comes from spinoffs. I enjoyed it for what it was, and I'd hardly go so far as to call its Mami "miserable."
