>>4384384I love you !!!
>>4384406?>>4384482I'm sure Miku loves you too, anon.
Long time best friend has been normified and ranted about how being a man and liking that one uno miku song should have you forced to be a construction worker to become normal again, what do i do about this ?
>>4385593I actually worked in construction when I started listening to Miku lol. I think there is some merit to his perspective, and it depends on your attitude toward cute/feminine things. If you find yourself identifying with them and constructing your outward facing personality around them, then I imagine that you will slowly lose your man card, as is what happens with so many people. But if you find yourself just enjoying them for the sake of themselves, and still within the context of manhood, I think you're good. Personally, I see my enjoyment of cute things whether it be Miku or silly animal pictures as sort of the temporary stand-in for the enjoyment of having children, which I can't have currently because I'm too young and not financially stable, but I still have that biological imperative. If you're not concerned for your own manhood, feel free to ignore this, but clearly your friend is concerned for his.
>>4385619Liking girly girls is peak masculinity tho. You are not some tomboy closet-homosexual, are you?
>>4385593That's silly. I'd just ignore him and keep enjoying what I want.
Do any of you guys got that one video of that Miku mascot going “Mikudayo” behind someone’s glass door and slamming it aggressively?
>>4386107I think just calling it "liking girls" ignores the actual issue. Enjoying cuteness is not a masculine trait, especially outside of a sexual context. Inwardly, I can still recognize my liking of cute things and slot it in with the rest of my being, but outwardly it doesn't fit. And believe it or not, how others view you has a big effect on who you are as a person. Overall, it's just a good idea to be aware of who you are and to have no shame in that, while also presenting yourself to others in a decent and palatable way.
>>4386745You shouldn't have to change yourself to appease others or conform to outdated notions of masculinity. Do whatever makes you happy and if other people are bothered by it, fuck 'em. They can mind their own business.
you are now reminded that the yt vtuber who drew this chimps out about lolicons ironic isn't it......how a mesugaki song attracts literal retards it was drawn by a vtuber you will come across in the Nice Try music video comments wait till you see the other one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxlhJ9ocg98this is also made by a tiktok zoomer why are vocaloid fans online so dumb these days?it's like everytime there's a sexual Miku song it gets popular with braindead zoomies
>>4386107>>4386745I work in demolition for a living and most the people I work with are massive weebs and nerds. One of the guys I work with is a 45 year old who openly watches anime during our lunch break and even got himself a Japanese girlfriend.
>>4386745An american typed this post.
I love everyone and wish the best for you all <3>>4386748Not saying you should change yourself, but just that it is nice and useful to keep up a normal outward appearance and that you can still enjoy the things that you like. I love my parents, but they would definitely perceive me differently if they knew I spent a not insignificant amount of my time looking at anime women on the internet. I feel like "fuck 'em" is a pretty harsh attitude toward people who are just different from you. Overall it depends on your environment, if it doesn't effect how other people perceive you that's awesome, but most of the time it does. And also, I like my masculinity, and I imagine others do too.>>4386781That sounds really fun>>4386841You are correct! What country are you from?
>>4386916I'm sorry, maybe that was a bit harsh. I just hate how judgmental people can be and the way they jump to conclusions based on someone's interests. >I like my masculinity That's fair. I'm not a man and don't particularly care if men are "manly," and I also feel like the definition of masculinity has changed over time, but that's just me. If it's important to you, there's nothing wrong with that. Overall I just want people to be happy and nice. I'm gonna go back to strictly posting Mikus now. It's nice to talk but I feel like I should stay on topic.
>>4386916Your idea of masculinity seems to be based on the one promoted by american normalfag mass media. Your outwards appearance is a lie constructed to conform to some vague idea of what others supposedly expect a man should be. It's not just unmasculine but really immature.>I feel like "fuck 'em" is a pretty harsh attitude toward people who are just different from you.It goes both ways. If you want someone to respect you, you should respect them as well. Do you want people to respect you for who you are, or a fake version of you constructed out of fear of being judged? If anyone is going to be judged here, it's the guy who had been hiding the fact that he likes girly girls lmao.
>>4386990I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a lie, but rather that it's curated. If I lived in a perfect society, I would be able to not curate myself to fit other people's expectations, but I'm just being a realist in the fact that I do live in america and the people around me have expectations whether I want them to or not. Their idea of masculinity is different from mine/ours, and I shouldn't hate them because of it. Just trying to get along in the world. Judge me if you will, and either listen to me or don't. Either way I hope you have a nice day and Miku loves you <3.
>>4386745So what men have to do with cute things? then
