https://sandiegoanimecon.com/Who else is coming?
i amCurrently suffering fromcon withdrawal until the next spring or ALA
>>10940378we'll have hentai matsuri again next year in june, alot of the people involved in SDAC aware there to.
>>10940401I wanted to check out hentai matsuri but i was at switzerland when it happened
>>10940374THE DRIIIIIVE SUUUUCKSso maybe idk, I need to see if I can use PTF or Vaca days
>>10940402its worth it, at midnight on the second day there was a dance floor with a stripper pole and one of the girls there let us all have a turn groping her ass and bare tits
>>10940416Im glad its in mission valley.A small comic convention i used to go to went from San diego to Carlsbad.
>>10940423i might ride my motorcycle there, if you see one with a bunch of horny anime girl stickers on it, know I'm there
>>10940374i didn't even know they were coming back for year 2 but i guess i'll go since i got nothing better to do this weekend
>>10941122They better be because the event sold out last year
Going Saturday since I'm a local with nothing better to do.
>San Diego convention not SDCC>Sandwiched between AX Chibi and ALAGarbage event is garbage
These VA guests are pretty slim pickings even for dubs
>>10941268nah, there are lots of hoyoverse vas
>>10941272>hoyoverseyeah Im too old for this shit. I did pass by Sean Chiplock last year
Rick and morty anime panelInteresting
There's a guy here walking around in a pedobear costume handing out loli dojinshi to randos
I dont know if theres a secret vendor hall, but it feels like theres less exhibitors this time around
>>10941354Trust me it isn't just you, my friend and I have noticed that not only there's less vendors, but most of the panels haven't even been worth the time attending. The band in the theatre last night was cool enough yeah, but hell even Hentai Matsuri earlier had better panals. Hopefully next year proves better. If anyone plans to do any shopping, avoid the vendor in the main hall by the maid cafe selling the mystery bags and cheap body pillowcases. Dude is selling figures for close to twice of what other vendors are in the conAnyone know of any room parties going on?
>>10941400Hopefully the con can expand with the vast amounts of space when it heads south to Chula Vista at the Gaylord Pacific.
>>10941400>If anyone plans to do any shopping, avoid the vendor in the main hall by the maid cafe selling the mystery bags and cheap body pillowcases. Dude is selling figures for close to twice of what other vendors are in the conBitch stfu!
The business center has free printing :^)
>>10941400Of course you avoid those guys. They resell crane figures for 5x the cost
The artist alley is bigger but why are the offering samey between diff artistsGenshin, kirby, pokemon , Genshkn , kirby , pokemon , Mha
>>10941456One woman was selling more interesting stuff, but it ventured outside anime. Stuff like Cyberchase, that PBS show with the mexican dragons, and Hihi Puffi Ami Yumi. I talked to her about that one and she took her print down because no one recognized it. I don't know what to do with prints and I don't have a lot of money so I didn't buy it, but it was nice talking to her about having variety in merchandise regardless.
>>10941456that's what sells. the free market speaks and people only like popular stuff.
>>10941464Not quite the same since the woman's in the know but I do always feel amused by out of touch vendors. The ~60 year old woman with her nice big stash of Hetalia and Kingdom Hearts keychains, you know the one
>>10941581KH is kinda evergreen aming weebs
>>10941584It comes and goes. And my point was more that they don't stock for series newer than the mid / late 2000s
>>10941585I seeI appreciate seeing old shit in the vendor hall though specifically those 2nd hand artbooks of 80s-00s anime
>>10941585>>10941587Noticed how the market is also fickle as hell. I barely see spyxfamily and dunmeshi now
