Is bulletproof coffee worth it?
>>20629518Depends how much you want to rely on ketones. On low carb diets it's like rocket fuel but it this effect degrades if your body is dependent on glucose (ie high carb). This is why most "energy" drinks work so well. It's just that back in the old days they didn't exist so people just used a lot of lard or something to get them going.
>>20629518>bulletproof coffee>you can still shoot through it>in fact, it has no verifiable benefit in stopping ballisticswhat were they thinking?
>>20629518It is good. Tasty. I do it with black tea too.
>>20629518you might shit yourself and get a churning stomach but you feel energetic for a while
>>20629518>coffee with oilthat sounds really stupid
worth what? the monetary cost? being a faggot who drinks something called "bulletproof coffee" instead of calling it buttered coffee or cafe au beurre or something
>>20629518it's gross and gives you the trots
>>20629518No. Just buy heavy cream. The butter, it does nothing.
>>20629518Not really. It's mostly a marketing thing. The places where people put butter in tea or coffee, it's done because they usually don't have refrigeration and fresh milk or cream won't last long. Like >>20630349 said, just put heavy cream in your coffee if you want it richer.I think milk tastes best though. Heavy cream is rich but feels like something is missing compared to milk. And with milk or cream you'll be getting some protein too.

>>20630349Th butter adds makes it a different drink.
>>20629518Worth fucking what? The 25 cents worth of butter used in it? The 50 extra calories? What are you even asking?
>>20630775Probably the healthy side. Dumb question. "worth what" is what I thought too lol.
