Depends how much you want to rely on ketones. On low carb diets it's like rocket fuel but it this effect degrades if your body is dependent on glucose (ie high carb). This is why most "energy" drinks work so well.

Not really. It's mostly a marketing thing. The places where people put butter in tea or coffee, it's done because they usually don't have refrigeration and fresh milk or cream won't last long. Like >>20630349 said, just put heavy cream in your coffee if you want it richer.

I think milk tastes best though. Heavy cream is rich but feels like something is missing compared to milk. And with milk or cream you'll be getting some protein too.
