That may make it a little less painful. It's always hard to let go. You need this phase of grief. Also let it out, then it will soon start to become better as the mind accepts it. That's how the process works. Also don't worry about appetite, that will come all by itself. The body does not live on sadness alone and soon the life essential functions all sadness despite will take back over the emotional ones. Just don't force it.
