Is squirrel good for you?
>they eat pine nuts ($40/lb), which makes their meat exotic, like ham raised on truffles and acorns
>Organic. No antibiotics, vaccines, or goyslop in their diet.
>Free range. Healthy, active, cruelty free.
>Free. Can harvest them year round with no permit and no limit.

What's the catch?

Elvis used to eat them.
Must be ok.
>>
Sounds great on paper..
Probably theres not much meat, its like eating a rat, you nerd 2 or 3 of those to make a ratburger.
>>
>>20630565
Fit for a king. How'd Elvis prepare them? I bet he's a casserole kind of guy.

In parts of Appalachia squirrels are know as, “the chicken of the trees.” They are especially good in a cream based gravy served over biscuits

They look pretty decent. Obviously it's not going to be like the genetically engineered meat chickens we're used too.
Compared to catching small fish, you'd still need fewer to make supper and you'll be spitting out less bones.

What do you call a dish made of "chicken of the trees" and "chicken of the woods"?
>>
>>20630561
They eat tons of garbage, I see them dumpstering fries from the burger place down the street constantly, it's a lot of work to clean one for a handful of meat that doesnt taste that good.
>>
>>20630631
I have never seen squirrels digging in trash bins.
They're highly territorial and crossing the street is a life and death game of frogger for them. The bulk maxed burger shop squirrel isn't sharing his chips with the squirrels in your back yard.

HUH?
Is that meant to be a play off of buffalo wings?
I'm not hand-waving it, but I'm not sure I get it.

How did you know it was rabbid? Did it truly attack you without reason? Are you sure you weren't doing something to justify its response?

What makes a more appealing happy hour promo?
>pint + 1lb of bison wings
or
>pint + 1lb of "forest chicken sampler"

Fair argument.
Better than TreeRat Surprise, for sure.
>>
>>20630781
True. But the noble squirrel shouldn't suffer the guilt of association with its lower rodent cousins. Squirrel is not a rat. Squirrel does not scavenge garbage. Squirrel does not hide in the shadows. Squirrel is a patrician and samurai amongst rodents.

How are you supposed to dispatch them after trapping them in Pokécube?
>>
>>20630699
squirrels do not carry rabies
>>20630822
pellet gun
I used to drown them but I'm sure that would make the meat extra tough if you intend to eat them.

Granted.
t. would eat RAT if hungry enough, or forced to breed them like rabbits.

If you had neither a pellet gun nor a barrel of water, what would your 3rd option be?
