I really don't get the hype. Sure, it's not awful, but it's a pretty average fast food burger, the beef is nothing special, and it doesn't give me anything that I can't get from McDonald's or Burger King. I know fast food is fast food and you get what you pay for, but people hype it like it's a cut above the rest. Mind you I'm in the UK so maybe the quality isn't as good over here as it is in America.

The downfall of Wendys and BK both were messing with their frie during the scare about beef tallow. Wendy's, also, had a salad bar, chili and baked potatoes, and cordon bleu chicken a couple times a year. It was almost a restaurant.My closest BK was corporate run and the training location for new manager/owners. HS students could leave campus and return with lunch in High School and still get back on time. It was really that well run. Their burgers are "flame broiled" which is to say, pre-cooked, and then sprayed with shortening, to really flame up when running under the broiler. So, it's different. I have nothing nice to say about McDs, and the only reason to go there is for a McGriddle or to use the bathroom while out of town.

The UK versions of Taco Bell, KFC and Burger King serve food that I wouldn't let my dog eat, let alone eat myself. There are some good brands though such as Dominos. I feel like the later a company decided to branch out to the UK, the worse the quality ends up.

Wendy’s fell apart after they changed the branding and their fries 15 years ago or whatever that was. They USED to be the best, now I’d rather eat pretty much anything else

i was vegan from 14 to 24 and I had my first burger in over a decade at wendy's when I was 28. it was so fucking disgusting. ive never bought a burger there since. the reason it was gross was because it had so much extra ketchup and mustard on it. BK double cheese crushes it.
