it's called celestial seasonings cause it's the business arm of a very serious and fairly large alien worshipping cult called the urantia foundation that's been around since the 1920s
>>
>>20839083
The founder of it was a believer in the Urantia book. You oughta give it a read. Basically Adam and Eve were intergalactic as the biologic uplifters of Urantia (Earth) who came in 1934 AD which was 40,000 years ago

Wait til you hear about the Thought Adjusters. Honestly, the cult can be very bureaucratic for a religion

The Hare Krishna restaurant down the street has some decent vegan desserts. Their vegan cheesecake is somehow also raw so I know it's not made of tofu or whatever.

His family lost his father. It's very difficult to get into the spirit of the holidays, even despite the awful situation. It's hard to even do it as a joke.

I get that it's a tragedy when an immediate family member dies. I went through it a few years ago too. But celebrating holidays with the rest of your family becomes more important after that kind of thing, not less. You don't need to be all joyful and merry during it, but being together and there for each other during a holiday is healthy for a grieving family.
>It's hard to even do it as a joke
What? Why would they do it as a joke? Who said anything about that?

It's hard to write exactly what I mean by that. I can't put it into words, but I don't mean anything bad by it. I'm >>20839925 and I've done this song and dance before.

NTA but I think he was trying to say like it’s hard to even PRETEND to try to be joyous, like you go through the holiday charades but it’s painful to try. But you force yourself to smile through it just..because
>>20839907
Sorry to hear anon. I hope the holidays won’t be too painful for you. I don’t have a good relationship with my dad. He’s unironically autistic, genuinely (like im not saying that as a joke). He is an asshole and would literally not allow us to open presents ever during Christmas morning when we were kids because he slept until noon.
Anyway, we’re here for you. I will be on /ck/ during the holidays.
In fact, I’m always here (and pol) bc those bastards were right—we’re here forever.

I only take that one when I'm definitely going to need sleep but don't mind being groggy in the morning. Maybe it's just placebo, but the fact that there's an actual sleep aid in it makes it hard to wake up the next day.
I love the comfy bear though. I mainly use cannabis to sleep.

Love winter, me.
>Eat
Rich, hearty stews, piping hot. I'm a big fan of cassoulet during the winter months. And of course, a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate while watching the snow fall out of the window.
>Wear
Warm pajamas. Throw them in the dryer for a few minutes before bed, on an exceptionally cold night, peak comfort.
I grew up in Florida, I didn't experience winter until I moved to Wyoming in my early twenties, and while it took some getting used to at first, I really love winter now and I'm thankful every time I have a white Christmas.

I've never understood this. You like dreams more than being high while awake? Dreams are such a crapshoot. You may have some, you may not. Perhaps a nightmare or paralyzation. You never know and often you get nothing.

I ALWAYS know what's in store when I take hits from the bong. And I still do dream at night, just not as frequently as without weed. There's really no tradeoff though; whatever increased dreams wouldn't be worth not smoking weed.

all potheads are hypersensitive to any perceived criticism (real or imagined) of their precious weed,

This is true of alcohol as well. You're basically completely disrupting your REM sleep by getting fucked up before bed and your brain & central nervous system hard shut down instead of naturally falling asleep and getting restful sleep
