>>20921591it's called an ulu. I bought it, fully expecting it to be a meme. I was intrigued after seeing Agnes Hailstone on Life Below Zero. I bought mine from Lehman's about 3 years ago. it became my go-to kitchen knife after using it a few times. eventually bought a ulu specific cutting board. great knife. I reccomend it. the handle on this one is getting loose. when it finally wears out, I will upgrade to a high quality handmade one. I will also make a new handle for this one, and use it as a backup.
