Its legitimately a good fast food burger, but it isn't the best and the price has always been so completely out of whack for what it is, makes it shit. At its price point I might as well just get a take out burger from a real restaurant, it will be the same price, or sometimes less for a much better burger.

I once went to a five guys and one of the red wall tiles was wrongly placed, I never went back there.

lately I prefer a thinner burger, like the kind you get at a shitty fast food place or just a straight up smash burger.
piled high burgers with huge patties tend to become a greasy, slimy mess after the first couple bites, and that's when everything doesn't come squirting out the back when you bite down.
I have also stopped putting tomatoes on my burgers for this reason. too much moisture.
>>
>>20936760
nothing beats good ol' in-n-out burger
>>
>>20936791
yeah burger king and in-n-out have the best burgers
>>
The goal of "gender transition" is to sterilize gay people.
>>
>>20936760
>5 guys
gay
>>
>>20936895
Transgenderism is gay erasure.
>>
>>20936764
>Its legitimately a good fast food burger
The fact they don't season their meat immediately disqualifies them from being considered "good" in any shape or fashion by any person who has functional taste buds.

Make your own smash burger at home. You will see just how hard 5 Dicks and other places are fucking you over.

>>20936760
Also, 5 Guy fries don't look like that. They have way more potato skin and are limp dick fries.
>>
>>20936760
never tried and agree, in-n-out mogs this slop

less buzzwords next time dipshit
>>
>>20936760

>garbage tier bun

Five Guys sucks, I'm sticking with Culver's

buzzword is a buzzword. steam on that conundrum, hypocrite that you are.
>>
>>20936760
It's a good burger but they've put the price up so much that you can go to a good restaurant or get a good indie burger for the same price.

>got a chorizo and black pudding burger + 2 sides from Brewdog in central London yesterday
>cost the same as a typical 5 guys

This is really my main complaint about Five Guys. It tastes like a burger I make at home and they charge me $10 for the privilege of having a burger I could have easily made myself.
>>
>>20936760
Culver’s is cheaper and tastier plus has cheese curds. Go there instead.
>>
>>20936794
They've been left behind. They only thing in their favour is they're really cheap for the quality.

Sometimes while waiting for my train, I go to the five guys in the station, grab some peanuts, and pretend that I'm ordering something on the touchscreen before deciding that I dont want anything and leave, free peanuts for this guy :)

>they charge me $10 for the privilege of having a burger I could have easily made myself.
And you can say this about every meal you ever eat out. It isn't an argument about the quality or value whatsoever. Everyone knows that the profit on fries are more than gold. But, at home, are you really twice frying potatoes and two temperatures?
>>
>>20937764
>And you can say this about every meal you ever eat out.
No, a homemade burger is trivial to make and the final product is the same. Making Chinese food is a pain in the ass. Making my favorite things from sit down chain restaurants are a pain in the ass.
And I don't even think their fries are that good so that comparison is even less flattering for Five Guys. I would unironically rather have frozen seasoned fries I cooked in an air fryer.
>>
>>20937815
Five Guys makes great fries, fresh cut potatoes from a specific origin that day, perfectly cooked a bit dark, and flavorful cajun seasoning.

And, this is how I known you're an idiot.^^
>>
>>20937841
McDonald's has invested billions into researching the optimal ratio of sneed oils and engineered chemical seasonings to activate the dopamine receptors in Americans. Five Guys litterally can't compete.
>>
>>20937815
Home-made burgers seem like you never get the right until you realise just how how important salt is and that you have to use a huge amount, not just a tiny sprinkle like you're salting your fries.

Only thing fast food chains have over home made is that there is 0 chance of ever getting gristle/bone chips from a restaurant burger but a frustratingly high chance from store bought mince.

Opinions on Fatburger? Tried one when I was in California and really liked it.

Guess it's "over 100 different colours of soda, all of them too watery to taste" for me.

This is America where people literally will eat a 900 calorie burger, 600 calories of fries and a 200 calorie soda in one sitting and call it lunch.

No it's not, it's trash

You don't season your beef at all? They literally don't even put salt in it

I am from California and it took me a long time to deprogram from the in n out cult. I live in Culversland now and it's so much better. when I visit home my must eat fast food is Tommy's, not In n out.

Yes Jean-Martin we know you have a cup of coffee and half a croissant for lunch, no one is impressed with you

Everyone who says "mid" should be gassed

>>20936760
Its actually quite good I think. But it is %100 overpriced. I do like their fries too. Fuck I took my daughter out to one because we were starving and it was right there and I think I payed something asinine like $50 just for two burgers, fries and a drink.
>>
>>20941003
Ive lived close to a Culvers for like 4 years now and still havent tried it. Is it decent?

They literally have the best burgers of any fast food chain. Their fries suck but they have cheese curds so fries are entirely obviated by that

Gay people absolutely do not deserve to be sterilize.
Transgenderism will be recalled 100 years from now as a sick fascistic horror like lobotomies are thought of now.

Why bother?

I've had Five Guys a few times before and enjoyed it, but it's way too expensive.

Yes, but it's also the only place near me where I can get a beef hot dog with what I like to have, without buying a whole pack of beef dogs.
