>he doesn't own an airfryerliterally one of the greatest cooking gadgets of all time and some of you are too snobby to understand how useful a miniature convection oven that heats up extremely quickly is.
Air Friers are My Food Bag for people who can't even use a pan.
>>20969986What is all the hubbub about "air fryers".I see memes about them all the time but I don't quite get what they are. What makes them different from a regular oven?
>>20969986Back in my day we used to cook our food in a fish tank using a hair strengthener, we put the food raw inside a vacuum sealed pan and then we still had to get the pan dirty to give it colour, reverse searing we called itThe whole process would take hours and so much space in your countertop you couldn't help but resent it
I only use mine to make frozen fried food and reheat pizza. The one time I tried to do a steak in it it turned out terribly.
>>20969996How did you prepare the steak before cooking? Brine? Dry brine?
>>20969998Neither, my issue was it failed to create any crust cranked up to the maximum and left in there for 20 minutes.
>>20970010next time, dry brine and add a mayonnaise coating. heat alone is not enough.
I do have an air fryer, just havent really used the actual air frying functions, always just used it like a small oven in bake mode
>>20969986kek she looks like a fun gal
>>20970022think I'd rather just slap the thing in a pan m8
>>20970027lol same, I got gifted an air fryer / toaster oven hybrid a few months ago and have used the air fry function like, twice to make some spring rolls. I use the bake/toast/broil functions all the time. idk it's not that I think there's anything wrong with air frying I guess, I'm just more accustomed to the other settings.
>>20969993I'd love a picture my manJust seems so ahead of the time
>>20970076Go on...
>>20969992it's just a small convection oven with a tray. it's just for convenience basically.technology connections made a video about them the other day, apparently there's some upsides and downsides to them compared to toaster ovens and regular ovenshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h9JhW-m35oit's not as good as his regular videos. "no effort november" is a fucking annoying gimmick
>>20969986If she wants me to care, she should have taken off those pants first. Panties too, unless they're really sheer.
>>20969986I would
>>20969986>can't afford a real, good convection ovenon top, air fryers are for goyslop only anywaythere literally not a single dish (that is not ultra processed crap) which is best prepared in an air fryerI rather spend my money on a kitchen centrifuge or other ultra specialized niche equipment
My microwave already has convection, and it’s over 15 years old.Just buy a better microwave instead of another gadget that takes up counter space.
>>20969992Toaster oven for zoomers.
>>20969992They're a pricier version of the old EZ-Bake oven that boomers played with as children. Zoomers discovered them and went wild with excitement thinking they'd invented them. Same thing with avocado toast, which dates back to the 1960's.
>>20969992As someone who usually enjoys cooking, they're a great tool for when you can't really be asked to do much for substenance but would still like a tasty meal. Just throw your frozen whatever in the basket, one spray of oil, push button, receive hot comfort food. This is the typical use case for single people. But even when doing actual cooking it just works as an additional cooking surface. Say you need to defrost & cook something fast while your oven and cooking plates are busy. Again it's one push of a button and forget until you here the beep.

>>20969986I'd give her fat pussy a good licking if you catch my drift
>>20970587you want to groom her cat for her? pretty weird bro
>>20969986I gave mine away to a friend because it was only collecting dust
>>20970746No no this is a misunderstanding, not her cat no
>>20969986Enjoy your young age, because with the microplastics infusion received you are going to have a lasting time of middle-age sterility depression.
>>20969986Air fryers suck ass, I left mine in the lobby of my office for some other person to have. >Pain to clean>Food needs to flipped during cooking >Made out of plasticJust get a small counter top electric oven, it's so much more versatile and less of pain in the ass to work with. And air fryers don't cook anything any faster.
>>20971340I have a large convection oven and a small air fryer. The air fryer cooks home fries twice as fast and they come out better. The air fryer also cooker chicken about 50% faster, and it also comes out better, but you have to be precise with the timing.
>>20969992People don't know their ovens convection setting is the same thing, and the additional convenience makes people think it's incredible (fewer dishes, no need for oil, sometimes no need to even thaw stuff, you can do it in an oven too but not as effectively because of the bigger space)
>>20971321the baskets are all metal. keep coping bud
>>20971362>the baskets are all metal. keep coping budheh... enjoy you're teflon cancer. RIP kid.
>>20971376there's models without nonstick. i should know because i have one. keep coping bud.
>>20970500>one spray of oilthe great upsell for air fryers for me is that oil is not required
can i bake loafs of bread in itif i can't then i dont need it
>>20971423Depends on the size and form factor. Yes, some designs have a compartment large enough to bake a small loaf or a few rolls/biscuits.
>>20971405>there's models without nonstick. i should know because i have one.heh... enjoy you're metabolic damage from the cooking spray you use to lubricate it. RIP kid.
>>20971362Plastic, the air fryer is covered in plastic and what's that smell when it's cooking, burning plastic. Enjoy the youth while you can, clearly the plastic reached your brain, but it's far from your penis yet.
>>20971428hmmmmmi shall purchase one on black friday
HUMMUNA HUMMUNA
>>20971457Just do your research. I still use mine sometimes for the standard things like reheating pizza or cooking frozen fries because it's faster and more convenient than my old-ass non-convection oven. My model also has a high-temp "grill" mode which is kinda nice.....But it has the teflon coating, which I hate not only because of the health issues, but because it's impossible to properly clean. I'm thinking of trashing it for a model with a glass chamber, or maybe a more traditional convection toaster oven with metal grates.
>>20969986sex with this slop maker, I bet she makes sloppa, just like her mom taught her to make.
i recently bought a potato ricer and i feel the same way as that chick now.
>>20969992The key difference is that most convection ovens recirculate the same air trapping the moisture inAir fryers constantly draw in new air and results in a drier end product
>>20971423>>20971428>>20971457Me again, just adding, if you try baking in one, do keep an eye on the rise, because an expanding loaf could interfere with the airflow, come in contact with hot surfaces and start burning, etc. For me baking in the air fryer was more from necessity.
>>20969986I'm honestly not against the idea of getting one I just don't really get what the proper use case is
>>20971340skill issue you should've bought a proper toaster oven style airfryer

A friend and ex roommate of mine once burned down my fucking kitchen when trying to fry some chicken wings. It was voted upon that he wasn't allowed to fry things in oil anymore. But, I felt bad for him knowing it was an accident and he really loved fried chicken wings, so the next year for his birthday, I spent a couple hundred American Pesos on an air fryer for him. He really loved that thing, it's the best gift I ever gave anyone. I really liked when he'd use it since the entire house smelled like whatever he cooked in it for a couple hours.I dont think I'd ever get one for myself though since I'm not a retard in the kitchen and can actually cook without setting things on fire. I already have a convection oven anyway.
>>20972667I was more focused on the puffy vulva, but now that you mention it, yeah, she has some decent titties.
>>20969986I have a gas convection oven. It heats up in a few minutes and I can air fry a fucking Buick in it. Bow down, cooklet
>>20972937Dude, gas ovens are so great, aren't they? I pity the fool who doesn't have one.
>>20972926>the entire house smelled like whatever he cooked in it for a couple hours.that's exactly why I hate it

>>20973553>attractive ladyNigger shes fat as fuck
>>20973558so?
>>20969986>>20969991I finally tried mine for the first time last night. I bought it last February because I kept hearing about them, but never found a real requirement for one. Then I made the mistake of buying those little spanakopitas at Costco because they're on sale until tomorrow, and the package only gave me the options of (1) using a regular oven, or (2) air fryer. Le heavy sigh. It's actually pretty based. Twelve minutes of hairdryer noise and I have food. I don't even have to stand around and watch it or anything.
I don't eat frozen food and i prefer deep frying I use my airfryer to roast vegetables
>>20969986My mom gifted me some expensive air fryer and I use it only for bagels
>>20972926my parents love k-drama, do you think its a good idea to buy them one on x-mass, they are not the smartest one (like me), and like shiny things
>>20969986I just use my slow cooker, as I don't particularly care for crispy food.

>>20976312>French doorsdo marketers really think smart Americans like us envy French designs?
>>20976350>americans>smart
>>20976350>French designsyour problem is the design? and not the badly photoshopped lamb chops?
>>20976924NTA but yes. That style door works well for refrigerators but for an oven, it sucks because there's a gap in the middle for heat to leak out. The superior laydown door similar to a normal oven is seen as a device for old people. Got to have something new and unique to get the younger demographic (and old people who want to be "with it") and it doesn't matter if the functionality sucks.
>>20976924correct, I don't see how a double door is French in any way. They make no silly claims about the food inside this machine
>>20969986>*SSSNNNNNNNNFFFFFFFF*>ooohuuaagghhhhh
any reason i should buy an air fryer over just a really nice countertop convection oven? Was thinking I'd like one because I hate heating up my big oven for everything
>>20977060>>20976312correct.those are better than airfryers
>>20970118>it's not as good as his regular videos. "no effort november" is a fucking annoying gimmicktrue, but I'm not sure what more he could do with a video about air fryers.
>>20971359>additional conveniencenuff said.
>>20977107>The term French door refers to a style of door that has two sections that pivot on hinges mounted on opposite sides of the door framing, opening and closing in the middle. During the 1500s, France was frequently at war with Italy, and French occupying forces and leaders found themselves inspired by the art and architecture they observed from the Italian Renaissance. Among the architectural innovations brought back to France from Italy was a style of double doors and windows that favored open spaces, light, and symmetry. The use of these double doors, by now known as French doors, spread to Great Britain in the 1600s and from there to the United States.Probably should be called Italian doors.
>>20969986I doubt they make airfryers big enough to feed that cow
>>20969986Would.
>>20969986Air fryers are literally just convection ovens.Buy a decent toaster oven, does the same thing but way more versatile. They make awesome toast, funnily enough.
>>20977389based historian. Love that about you, bro
>>20977389The french also stole "french toast", which was originally a Roman dish.
>>20969992>zoomers did not know toaster ovens exist>the addition of a fan is a minor improvement>it is better than microwaving stuff
>>20969986TUMMY SEXO
>>20969986is an airfryer specially for fatties?
>>20978962No, it's also suitable for aspiring fatties - "pre-fatties" if you will.
>>20978962It's for women too stupid to watch an oven.
>cant fry milanesasThey are shit
>>20969986>airfryerYet another unnecessary Millennial purchase
>>20969992>What is all the hubbub about "air fryers".they were invented so Nakadashi-san in Japan/Korea/China/HongKong who only has a 3ft by 5ft apartment for $2700/mo can cook as if he had a real oven. western hipsters, richfags and retards jumped on the trend because a women's magazine was making shit up about how healthy they are.
>>20969992you can make good chilli con carne with air fryers
>>20979980That looks dreadful
>>20979980what i dont get is why people use these plastic fucking airfryers. I'd rather have a countertop convection oven/toaster, with the metal grills and interior I can put a cooking sheet in.
>>20971457Sales aren't real.
>>20969992I bought one and I was all excited for the fries and they came out dry and disgusting. I thought then I'd do a toasted cheese and it just blew the sandwich apart. Then I returned it and never looked back.
>>20979980Absolute slopa. Fucking 20 minutes in a wok is quicker and easier.
I like the ones with two baskets. Those are cool, right a-anons?
I'm not super into frozen foods (like fries or nuggies) and I have limited countertop space. Why should I consider an air fryer regardless? What can I make with it that justifies them taking up space?
>>20979980This makes me angry
>>20982274It's a single serving sized oven that doesn't need preheating and comes with a few extra cooking settings you will never use. It's very convenient for a single guy. The forced air convection is maybe marginally better than a normal oven's convection, making a small difference for shit like chicken wings.
>>20982509Honestly, the no preheating is the only part of that value proposition that sounds great to me, but not great enough to justify the countertop space. Thanks anon, I suppose I'll stick with my normal oven for now.
"Air frying" is buzzword for "convection oven with a higher RPM".Toaster ovens will do everything an air fryer does and more, and usually with less plastic. The only possible benefit "air fryers" have is faster or negligible pre-heat, and that's merely a result of the small capacity. A small toaster oven would be the same.
>>20982274if you already have a decent oven it is not worth the countertop space for sure. but you can do things that you can't do with a normal convection oven because the heat in an air fryer is a lot more intense. it's genuinely one of the best ways to cook chicken wings.
>>20969992Preheats quicker, cooks faster, uses less electricity, easier to clean. Homes could literally not have an oven at this point.
>>20984130>No appliances provided with rental>Just buy an air fryer, faggotThe jews win again.
>>20984159>rentlol
>>20969993When I was your age I was my age.
americans have weak electricity that cant run a proper oven so they have doll sized toaster ovens and air fryers
