How do you cook your bacon evenly? I tried it in the oven, on the pan with the water trick and it always gets partially burnt on the edges and the parts that make contact with the surface when I try to get it crispy.

Unironically just microwave it. It's by far the most consistent way to cook bacon.

The tray must be rotated for best result.

Lower heat for longer time

unironically microwave. sandwich your bacon in a flat layer between two doubled up paper towel layers, on top of a plate. cook for ~5 minutes.

wont the paper burn? that sounds like a troll
>>

My microwave can light paper on fire, not sure what kind of fag microwave everyone else has.

start in a cold pan.
put in the bacon
heat pan
when water starts coming out, flip.
wait for rest of water to come out, flip
now wait until bacon makes the tsk sound.
this will increase in frequenct, flip and one side should be brown.
do the same.
keep flipping till desired brownness is achieved.

this will take no more than 12 to 15 minutes. there will also be very little splatter.
I have been cooking bacon this way for 20 years. dry cured bacon will only take 7 to 10 minutes to cook

worst way to cook bacon.

>>20980145
while this works it can result in dry overcooked bacon.
>>

moron
>>
>>20979984
just lower heat
never get weird spots that way
helps if the bacon can swim in their own grease a little (use a smaller pan)
>>
>>20980497
So much text but you give no info. What kind of pan? What heat setting? These are the two obviously most important things to mention, you failing to mention them means you’re full of shit and nobody should listen to you.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother.

>>20980622
any pan
I can't tell you how to control your stove.
I gave you all you need to know. if you can't figure it out, then don't cook because you are stupid.
>>

>water
Fucking hell, get better bacon
>>
>>20979984
If you actually want crispy bacon you gotta snip it up into bits in a frying pan with butter or lard.
>nyeh but it has to look like a rectangle
>>
>>20981413
all bacon has water in it, some bacon has it added you dipshit.
>>
>>20981550
Barely any escapes if you have quality bacon. You obviously wouldn't know that
>>
>>20979984
>lay out bacon flat on cookie sheet
>put it in a cold oven
>set to ~375°F
>set timer to 20 minutes (strangely, I found that different brands cook at different rates)
>after 20 minutes, check, add more time if necessary
>when done, remove from cookie sheet and place on paper towels to remove excess grease
I get perfectly crispy bacon every time doing it this way.

You gotta do it slow in the pan. Let the fat render out, then turn down the heat a notch. Once there's enough fat to evenly distribute the heat and not just scorch the edges, you're golden to just let them cook -> flip, cook -> flip, and shake off excess fat.
>>
>>20979984
just putting it in a pot and stirring or in a pressure cooker is pretty easy

chuck it under the broiler.
>>
>>20980497
finally someone else that knows how to cook bacon.
>>
>>20981556
except that I do. you obviously have never cooked over 30 different brands of artisanal and store bought bacon like I have.
