>>20983847Any decent fast food joint already does this
>>20983847Spear on the side is the superior way
*masks the bland taste of your mediocre burger*
>>20983847i am 26 years old and found out about a month pickles were just spiced cucumbersit still has me thinking about other things i may have been misunderstandnng
>>20984874technically it's a cured cucumber. You don't need to add any spices to pickle something.
>>20983847It's actually crazy how hard pickles improve the flavour of a burger.
>>20983847I like pickles, I just don't think they add much to a burger.
>>20983847I don't like pickles on burgers. They overpower it, makes the whole thing taste of crunchy vinegar.Though I'm not a picky eater and most employees put them on anyway when you special order, so I just peel them off and throw them away, the little bit of juice flavor left is fine. I feel pickles go so much better on fried chicken sandwiches, because it's usually a much thicker hunk of meat.
Extra pickles extra onions is my go to for burger toppings. Crunch and tang are maximized
>>20985000holy shit, an actual taste connoisseur. I full heartedly love pickles but they are somewhat trashy on burgers. You should look into becoming a chef, anon.
>>20984874>Pickled Onions>Pickled beets>Pickled peppers>PicklesWhy cucumbers got the monopoly on the name is a mystery.
>>20985038it’s the most common pickled vegetable, at least here in the US, where we all call them pickles. other places call them “gherkins” (lol)
>>20984874Wait until you find out about ginger.
>>20984995i think they're better on chicken sandies
>>20985073you’re correct. it’s nice on a cheeseburger, non negotiable on a chicky sammy. as well as a pulled pork sammy
>>20985069waitwhat??
