I finally decided to try one of those meme cans of premade cocktails I see every time I'm in the store. Time to see if I just wasted $5 or if I'm in for a pleasant surprise.
banana for scale
>>20984865I'm sure they taste fine but obviously not like an actual fresh cocktail
I'd describe it as a very "bitters forward" old fashioned. makes sense because they talk a lot about their homemade blend of bitters on the can. a little sweet for me but not too shabby.
These bacardi premixed cocktails are actually pretty good, would recommend
>>20984881>fine but obviously not like an actual fresh cocktailI'd give it a solid 3/5 which is good considering it's a cocktail from a can. obviously not as good as something you could make yourself but it's better than some of the OFs I've chanced at dive bars.i probably didn't give it a fair shake because the last drink i had before the can was some Glenlivet 12. it's def better than the horrific BuzzBall brand monstrosity I had last week lol.
>>20984895i'd try that on a whim. how sweet is it though? i guess you can always cut it with some ice to taste.
>>20984895Oh shit I haven't seen those in a long time. You just gave me flashbacks to some very ugly vomits. But yeah they were pretty good.
>>20984897Why do you blow money on the little bottles? You pay quite a bit more for the booze inside than with a 750ml
>>20984900It didn't taste that sweet to me but I apparently it's quite sugary. I did end up adding a lot of ice and regular rum though
>>20984903I personally buy pint and half pint bottles of liquor because they are easy to conceal under clothing when I go out for entertainment.
>>20984905Holy shit that's a lot of sugar for 5 ounces. For comparison, a 12 ounce can of Mountain Dew had 46 grams of sugar.
>>20984903>Why do you blow money on the little bottles?Hadn't tried this bottle yet so I only wanted to buy the little bottle to try it.
>>20984865What a rip off.
