waffles or pancakes?
Man, waking up at 4 in the morning just to bake pancakes with my grandpa, some like dusted sugar, some granulated, but if you prefer strawberry marmalade over raspberry, we will fight about it

a really good waffle is superior but more rare and difficult to produce. a pancake is easier and more consistent and is generally a smarter choice in a place of unknown repute. it's harder to fuck up and pancake. a bad waffle is a real disappointment but an excellent waffle is real special.this is a reminder that there is neither certainty nor useful hard and fast rules in life. all things require judgment.
