The rest is just bootleg versions of GrecoItalo cusine

Could believe this and not think you're just a ignorant chud retard, but you put Greece as #1.

What is modern Greece has been an irrelevant back water for over two millenia, their cusine is entirely their local version of the Oriental (Turkish) cuisine they imported being a member of the Ottoman empire for 500 years. All of the balkans, turkey, and The levant has the same shit. But, turkey and The levant have richer cusines due to their easier access to Spices

>Greece was an Otterman colony for 500 years
>Greek food is now Otterman food
>Spreads through the Otterman empire
>Now Greek food is Otterman food
Next you're going to claim Slavic food isn't Russian in origin or Asian food isn't Chinese in origin.

Once again, if it was Greek, why do they use names of foreign origin, particularly from Arabic or Turkish?
Maccheroni are Greek in origin, as the name reflects, but parmigiana? Lasagne? Castagnaccio? Italian.
Pretty much all the famous Italian dishes are.
But Greek cuisine?
All the famous dishes are foreign. Hummus? Levantine. Falafel? Egyptian. Pastitsio? Italian. Y'know what's native Greek? Shitty sour mayonnaise soup. Enjoy your avgolemono.

I'll take Lebanese hummus over Greek hummus but that's about it.

Sounds like someone forgot about the ERE.

Tzatziki is a Turkish word, and the dish itself is likely Bulgarian. Not Greek in any way.
