>>21091759Nice one. How did you cook the string beans?
>>21091769Bought frozen. Spread out evenly on a tray, pepper on, and in the oven at about 200c/400fStarted cooking the steaks when they were all thawed and soft. Perfect timing after the steaks had rested
>>21091764You fucked the sear up bad but the steak looks nice inside
>>21091811>You fucked the sear up badHow? I'm not a chef, but I'm open to suggestionsTasted fine to me
>>21091819Tell me how you prepared seasoned and cooked the steak and maybe I can help you
>>21091829Why don't you just tell me how you can tell it's bad?>salt + pepper on plate>steaks onto place>wipe upper side of steaks with paper towel>salt + pepper onto steak>wait till beans are soft>fire pan on high, wait till hot>bit of olive oil in pan>throw steaks onto pan>1½-2 minutes, then flip>after 1 more minute, throw some butter in pan>when butter's melted, turn steaks again>a bit of basting and flipping, mostly just to keep eyes and hands on till they're ready to rest
Why do those beans look so burnt, cook them.in a sauce pan like normal humans
>>21091848It's the lazy way + I like them like that
>>21091759>i am not the only anon on a rib dietit's a small world>>21091764Looks good but where's the sauce, boss?

>>21091819sear looks fine to me but i wonder if there was a grey band
>>21091847i'm nta but your steak is gray with black flecks on it. It looks like the steak steamed and the pepper and oil burned. Here is what I would do different:>bigger steak at least 2">dry brine the steak>Pretty hot but not crazy hot steel or cast iron skillet>no oil, sear the fat cap first then fry in its own oilsee >>21092298
>>21091759Based beef enjoyer.Having a diet revolving around beef is the healthiest thing you can do.
