>cutting frozen patties
>knife too dull
>slip
>disembowel yourself
>die alone

True story and all because of a dull knife and no license for it...
>>
>>21104892
why would anyone cut a frozen patty?
>>
>>21104777
That's a manga panel

Gotta separate them when they stick. The pros use a butter knife and NSF certified hammer to split them.

Actually something good that took me awhile to really understand--

Don't only focus on improving the sexy cooking things (knowledge of fancy recipes, pan/knife skills, showy flambe shit, etc). Also improve in all the other movements your making in the kitchen - reducing times you have to open the fridge/go to the trash, keeping your work area clean (but not at the expensive of constantly moving back and fourth to clean), minimizing moving back and fourth between spots in general, food stuck on pan because bad oil / heat control, 14 dishes/pans/cooking tools to clean when only 4 were necessary, etc. Try to reduce the amount of effort each time from the time you're in the kitchen to the time you finish doing the dishes. Always try to figure out how to make things more effortless without compromising quality. Be like that 70 year old grandma who is doing laps around the young "chef" even though she's moving at 2mph. This shit will also just make your food better.

>>

Watching food wars is what originally got me into cooking, actually. Bad advice desu
>>21104699
Add semen to your food, especially when you're cooking for a date
>>
>>21105954
>let them defrost
ain't nobody got time for that shit
>>
>>21104699
If you’re halving a recipe write down the corrected measurements to avoid messing it up (like I’ve done several times)

>>21105954
>dont they have papers in between them to stop them from sticking?
They do but if they defrost a little (like on an 30 min car ride) and freeze again they get stuck even with the paper.
>>
>>21104699
