This, right here, is how you make the best tacos.

OP, I think it looks kind of dry and a touch flavorless, honestly.

Did the hamburger get seasoned? I've often use Frontera Grill simmer taco skillet sauce, which is a nice mixture of tomato paste, chili pastes and seasonings. Herdez makes some great squeeze tubes now! Even a pack of old el paso has a bit of corn starch and a slurry to thicken up the sauce.

Refried black beans would be tastier. The whole toppings assortment looks like you would more enjoy a mexican rice bowl.

Did those taco shells get toasted in the oven first? If not they'll taste stale, and certain crack when you fill them.

Brown over seasoned cooklet hands typed this. It's crazy how ethnic people destroy their taste buds by over seasoning every single thing they the make with the same boring seasoning. They never know what actual food taste like because they bury the flavor of food under a bunch of bullshit and everything they make tastes the same.

I'm white, but I spent my childhood as a world traveler. My father was an airline exec. I basically enjoyed Mexico City like a weekend warrior for a decade. So, no, I'm not brown, but I likely enjoy authentic mexican more than you.

OP's pic of green salsa paired with hamburger is bland, and as much you want to criticize Bayliss, he does understand regional mexican and his Frontera simmer sauce is good and easily found, why I recomended it over a powder. Or, you can soak and puree your own combination of anchos and guajillo chilies to puree in your blender like a mexican would do. You'd also have to char an onion, and a fresh tomato or two. That's not overseasoning, nor is it "the same old thing" because a mexican wouldn't be eating a hamburger taco in the first place. It'd be skirt steak, and it'd be char grilled or else barbacoa in a simmer sauce.

case in point.

You eat the ingredients separately from different bowls?

Looks unironically good and yet americans keep finding ways to fuck the simplest dish in the American Continent in an international, post-industrial level...

>hard shell, (well seasoned and fried) spread smashed black beans, sautee hard season ground beef, american cheese, chopped onions/pickled, chopped tomato, sour cream, olives, grill salsa
Use your shitty lettuce and guacamole and sour/salt mezcal as a side and despite being texmex crap you get a honest to god meal and not that shit that's gives you bowel cancer at Tacobell you niggers love so much

i never understood the olives
