My Mexican girlfriend is sick so I am making her sopa. I am sure that no matter how I prepare it she will tell me it is wrong because I am white. Wish me luck.

Does this look like a Mexican forum to you?
>>
>>21110158
idk I thought it was an armenian basket weaving forum
>>
Made a sandwich and split it. We got mayonesa, refried beans, panela, and smoked turkey. Gonna toast these once she gets home so it’s nice and hot.

yea i know. my grandma whom i met a handful of time in the 90s in Mexico when i was a litte kid would do everything by hand using a mortar (molcajete) and some stone thing called a metate. pretty impressive and inspiring how some people spent their life making food for others
>>
>>21111506
they blended it up in their mouths and regurgitated it like birds
>>
>>21111529
Like tomato soup, you roast these vegetables, then you blend them up. How the fuck did they use to make that before?
Rolling pins? that shit would be a mess, maybe some kind of ricer they slammed on the vegetables, but then it wouldnt be pure soup
>>
>>21111553
Tomato soup didn't exist before the blender. I'm jk, they used windmills.
>>
what, no menudo? caldo de res? no fucking limes? Do you even like your girlfriend?
