Microwavable pork rinds are a thing. They took a standard microwave popcorn pack, switched the corn for pig skin and removed the diacetyl.

This seems like a dangerous product. The worst I've ever burned my mouth with pork rinds.

There's nothing better than piping hot pork crackling. Best part of the animal.

Crackling is not the same as Rinds.

You have never eaten them have you?

For spergs who like pork rinds but can't over the fact that it's not warm/hot
Literally the only difference is the temperature and that it's saltier
>>
There is a guy at my farmers market that does fresh pork rinds...straight out of the fryer with vinegar and oil....God Tier
>>

these are much better than standard bags, where the rinds feel kind of moist and they're not as dense
but then i found pork cracklin's with the fat still attached, even crunchier, but they leave an awful aftertaste if you're drinking beer

They do not pop. You have to watch the bag for when it stops expanding to know if it is done or not. There are suggested cook times on the packaging for different microwave wattages but it still varies a bit, so you might have to make a few mistakes before figuring out the best amount of time to nuke them.

Just go to your local mexican store and get them fresh, they're thicker and they'll even still have the tender lean meat on them

Pork Rinds are called Pork Scratchings in the UK, it's the same thing.

It's a good pub snack here but I agree Pork crackling, comes off roasted Pork and although it's delicious, it's not the same thing.

These things are actually quite good, but it's hard to get them to cook right. You can shake the bag as much as you want but you'll still be left with a big lump of charcoal inside.

Imagine gatekeeping a waste product.
