I don't understand why cats like fish. Cats hate the water and are not water-dwelling animals. Yer they go crazy for fish. How does that make sense?

my orange kitty loves pastries, especially the buttery ones. i’ll always give her a nibble. we have a spoon for portioning our instant coffee, and she’ll lick that spoon sometimes too. otherwise a very picky kitty.my tabby will eat almost anything. funniest thing he eats are cucumber slices. i usually offer a piece of what i’m eating as long as it’s safe.my golden kitty (rip) once swatted an entire sandwich out of my hand when i told her no and she didn’t even eat it. i wish i had offered her more of my food before she passed away. i was really cautious at the time about what would make cats sick, but a little salami wouldn’t hurt.
