Verdict: On it’s own (I plan on eating this with some pumpkin chili later) it’s got the texture of pizza crust and makes for a rather chewy and earthy experience.

If you do make it again I'd recommend increasing the water to about one cup though and let it sit for a little while so the bran absorbs some of it.
