How did you cook em?
>>
>>21579073
Pan on medium high, melt a little butter In there and then like 30 seconds each side. They were tiny, cooked very fast
I did 5 at a time so that I could flip them and keep them whole
First time btw
Is that your pic? I don't have an oven. Is that a cloth what is that
Mine were whole with the head and everything tiny little things really pointless to take the head off and everything
>>
>>21579073
I used to have an oven and a house
>>
>>21579077
Never tried that, but anything with butter will taste good.
Yes it's my pic
>Is that a cloth
It's baking paper so they don't stick to the pan sheet.
>>21579080
What happened?
>>
>>21579077
>Mine were whole with the head and everything
Were they real Sardines or Sprats?
The next question I will ask is where did they come from?
>>
>>21579077
I cut the heads btw>>21579073
they didn't come like these, I cut them because they were bigger and because I made fish soup later.
>>
>>21579127
>>21579127
They were Sardina pilchardus, supposedly they came from right here but probably china who knows , I don't trust anyone or anything
>>21579111
I'd have to start in 1992
Tomorrow I was thinking same thing but on toast with finely diced onion cucumber tomato salad
>>
>>21579132
Do u also laugh at the retards that eat canned sardines? I can't imagine that anymore after today
>>
>>21579132
I'm a bit dubious about OP . . .I see you have gutted and beheaded yours (and the question about the baking parchment was a bit strange)

>>21579135
>They were Sardina pilchardus
Ok . . .Now my spidy senses are tingling, you have looked online for the name but no idea where they came from? And where is here?

Sorry OP but I'm going to call your bluff.

>>

What a treat this is I didn't realize they weren't readily available back home
It's a small consolation for sitting in poverty I guess
>>
>>21579135
>Tomorrow I was thinking same thing but on toast with finely diced onion cucumber tomato salad
That's sounds tasty.
>>21579138
>Do u also laugh at the retards that eat canned sardines? I can't imagine that anymore after today
No, what? I don't laugh at anyone, there's enough rude people on this board. I love all kinds of sardines, I was just coming from Greece and bought them right from the fish market, they were caught the same day 500m from the market.
>>
>>21579151
A picture of a bag of small fish proves nothing.

Where did they come from?
You reeled off the Latin name for them but have no idea as to their origin and again . . . .where is here? Australia, USA, Italy, Switzerland?
>>
>>21579166
I don't want to talk about where I am because people think it's cool but I'm actually in poverty being targeted and denied my right to work in the west so that I can get credit to buy another home
>>
>>21579169
Hmmmm I have severe doubt anon, you are not being genuine here.

>>21579164
I have a funny feeling in my Bong bones that you are Bulgarian?
>>
>>21579171

Clever guess or British wizardry?

I love Sardines, when they get to full size, we call them Pichards - a bit strange but there we go.
I haven't had fresh ones for years but I do eat tinned ones a couple times per week, usually with cous cous.
>>
>>21579189
>Pichards
*Pilchards
>>
>>21579189
>Clever guess or British wizardry?
It was a good guess from the 3-4 countries I could be going back to. I'm fairly close to the boarder so I feel confident buying fresh sardines and coming back the same day and cooking them. I had a cooler with ice obviously. They would be smell up the whore car otherwise lol.

Yeah fresh big ones are pretty good, in Greece they grill them sometimes and that's my favorite way to eat them but it's a hassle doing that on my balcony just for sardines.
>>
>>21579172
>Who would go online to lie about eating sardines
Americans do.
I don't think they realise it though, Their favourite brand is actually labelled 'Brisling Sardines' which aren't really sardines at all but Sprats, a different fish.
I like those too, you can buy these here fresh or frozen but I have never seen tins of them here.

>>21579203
>It was a good guess from the 3-4 countries I could be going back to
It was an educated guess.

Looks like you cooked off loads of them>>21579073 you can't eat those on your own.

Happy eating Bulgarian anon.
>>

>Looks like you cooked off loads of them>>21579073 (You) you can't eat those on your own.
The pic is from last year, I was living with someone during that time but I can easily eat them for lunch and dinner on my own, I love fish.
>Happy eating Bulgarian anon.
