Huy Fong is still the best, most savory and balanced with a strong pepper-vegetable and garlic flavor, even though the quality has dropped.I made my own with aged red jalapeños that I grew myself and it was as good as the original, but it came out too spicy. I think next time I'll mix in some sweet red hungarian peppers, they have a similar aroma to jalapeños unlike red bells.
