Much like anything, there's a lot of snobby bourbon connoisseurs. I know there's rare Pappy's and shit that I'll never drink, but for my money, nothing beats Knob Creek. Depending on age they're easily affordable for even the poors, and get kinda expensive if you want a deeper age. But at every level it beats every other comparable bourbon I've tried.
For me, it's Russell's Reserve.

It’s so nice being able to talk about real whiskey without people bringing up that 80 proof swill that has been artificially colored to appear as whiskey.
