Everyone ITT is lying to you. The answer is OMAD (One Meal A Day). To start off, eat whatever junk you normally would and make it extra delicious since it's all you'll get to eat that day. You'll still get the satisfaction of feeling really full and you get to look forward to an actual tasty meal every day. Eventually you'll start counting calories (it's not THAT bad) but first you need to learn how to be comfortable not eating all day.
If you're able bodied, then go out and do cardio. Start with walking multiple miles and gradually escalate to running. If you have anxiety, then go out at dawn when there's barely any pedestrians (tweakers) or automobiles out. Nobody likes being out and about at those hours.

I’m too retarded to do calorie counting so I just started running and lifting weights. I also cook myself dinner and minimize eating out to once a week. Works so far.
