God damn, we are eating good.
If anyone has good fic recs, post em. I'm struggling to find anything good. The ship tag moves too fast to keep up with new stuff and sift through all the shitfic.
>>3936330The fic I'm writing right now. It'll be good (that's not saying much considering how shit 99% of fics are).
>>3936332>45 tags on a fic, huge block of text as a summary, all for 1.5k word oneshot>One or both of characters are completely out of character>Clearly written by an underage fujoigger from TikTok who admits in notes that they didn't finish show>General fics tagged with sexual dynamics>Dom/top and sub/bottom conflagration>Repetitive garbage making it feel like you're reading the same thing over and over>Crappily conceived or poorly executed AUs>200-300 fics a day, maybe 1 of them worth reading
>>3936330You've probably already read it but A New Knife by surveycorpsjean is the best post-S2 fic I've read so far. Everything else has been okay>>3936330>Clearly written by an underage fujoigger from TikTok who admits in notes that they didn't finish showI've already come across three of these just today, why do people readily reveal this? It's like people tagging their fic as OOC, it doesn't make me motivated to read it whatsoever
I'm not reading any fics until I finish writing my own, it will fuck up my plot for sure
>>3936344What's the premise? Unless you wanna keep the details yourself until it's finished, which is fine.
>>3936347The idea is that Jayce is the last human being left on Runeterra (except maybe Singed) because Viktor succeeded in conquering the world. Now, Jayce has wandered the world and found nothing, just people being fused into buildings, the ground etc. So he returns home for one final confrontation with Viktor -- understanding that it is going to be his last fight ever -- but Viktor ends up sparing him. There was going to be a twist ending that he was a mannequin after all and Viktor only let him think that he was a human (out of guilt) but that's probably too hardcore. The subplots I'm writing about are them trying to restore the world to the way it was and also ending up in the AU and bringing the signs of the contamination from the main universe in with them along the way.
>>3936348Sounds interesting, anon. The scrapped twist ending is pretty cool, it's both mindfucky for the reader and Jayce. It lends some afterthought too in regards to his autonomy and capability of emotion/thought if he was a mannequin the entire time. I like your ideas, the fic seems wide in scope so far. Multi-chapter is it? Hope you get to finish it.
>>3936344Same here, I refresh the tag every now and again to remind myself of what I don't want to do. The summaries alone usually tell you everything you need to know. Trying to figure out what I'll need to put there to get any attention is the hard part.Your idea sounds interesting, the only fics I'd be willing to read are by anons anyway. I think you should keep the twist.
>>3936348I like the twist, anon. I hope you keep it.
