The last thread ended with a discussion over whether it should just be a thread for kemoshotas. I’m personally against this as I find anthro males of all ages to be cute, just depending on how they’re drawn, but I might be in the minority around here.

I love when anthro boys have personality traits or quirks associated with their animal. Like cat boys who are super chill and lazy, and generally don’t care about interacting with the people around them except for that one person who they are incredibly close to, sort of like cats in real life.You see this with Hachi in Monotone Blue, for instance.

The Girl from the Other Side is probably his best work- even though it’s about a human girl, the main anthro guy is very cute in a weird sort of way.Monotone Blue definitely leaves the door open for further stories and Nagabe has drawn them several times since it ended. You don’t see lizard x mammal pairings that often.

Speaking of sepaking of furry men in manga.The guy who draws that popular manga about a girl being afraid of ghosts also published a noir looking manga about some detective guy and his illegally gene-engineered dogboy apprentice, called VITRO ANIMA.The first few pages look really good, but I haven't read past that, since I've only seen the Chinese translation around, and reading something this good looking in an MTL of an MTL would be dreadful.I've even considered buying it, but it looks like it's a part of some "bunny ears magazine" compilation, and I'm not interested in shelling out $20*7 for a book of almost exclusively human women in bunny suits.
