You kind of have to stretch his character a bit, but he schizo'd out coming out of that Mage Viktor world so the foundations are already sort of there. Jayce has shown his capacity to twist his morals when it comes to Viktor, so I think it's fine.

>>3943136>>3943151Viktor is actually very hard to imprison and experiment on because he has dying as a get out of jail free card.The S1 version needs constant medical attention and he won't get that without eyebrows being raised if he's stuck in a cell somewhere. The S2 version has all sorts of magic that just makes him as slippery as an eel from being able to heal others (which presumably means he can also heal himself -- can you effectively drug this one to unconsciousness?), being able to read minds via touch and worst of all, he will just outright die if he runs out of his limited battery, enabling him to nope out of there super fast. Also I get the feeling that he's only piloting his body, because even Jayce killing his physical form doesn't kill him. And the S2 endgame form - nothing is keeping that version nailed down.

Drugs to induce unconsciousness would be out of the question, but substances that can induce other effects seems feasible enough - Singed did it to his egg form, after all. Physical restraints, and MAYBE electrocution, strikes me as the logical course of keeping him pinned down.
