>it took SU about 50 episodes to find its groove.
I find it hilarious to see cartoonfags unironically using the "it gets good 50 hours in" argument from RPGfags.

I mean it happens with many famous animes tho

Does it?
Most anime (and media in general) absolutely does not take forever to get good, either they always sucked or you, the audience, developed enough sunken cost rationalization to pretend that because you watched something that sucks for 20 hours then it must actually be good and definitely not a reflection of your questionable taste.

He's insanely popular, albeit not as much anymore. The term frollophile has existed since the 90s
>>151931978
This is the correct answer. I would say that some of it is relatability too, since it's not often you see a character struggling with sexual desire in a mainstream kid's movie, and the mantra of "I want it but I shouldn't want it" resonates with sexually stifled female virgins. If frollo were a woman, sexually stifled men would have similar reactions

On this day, December 27th, Cartoon Network aired the premiere of one of the best cartoons of the 2000s and the most popular show in CN's ongoing block at the time.

Happy anniversary to Ben 10!

Weirdly enough they were always set in the same universe. I remember watching both as a kid and seeing Animo pop up in a database of criminals, and one of the Secret Scientists saying “Great Galvan Prime”

For those who want to go in blind, the description has been spoilered.
>Tom Hart's two-year-old daughter Rosalie was a bundle of energy: always running, exploring, and fascinated by the world around her.
>But one night, when Tom went to check on her in her crib, he found her silent, still, and unbreathing. Without a sign that anything had been wrong, she had passed away in her sleep.
>This touching and beautiful graphic novel memoir tells the heartbreaking story of the untimely death of the author's young daughter, and the solace that Hart finds in nature, philosophy, literature, and art. Rosalie Lightning is a graphic masterpiece chronicling a father's undying love, and a tribute to much-missed baby girl.

I don't think they've concluded anything because I scrolled the wiki the other day and it made no claim but over 80% of cases are found prone. But kids also really love sleeping face down.
>>
>>151931593
There's also the case of the woman who had multiple babies die and they jailed her despite a lack of evidence (and didn't suspect the father at all) only for years later to actually examine the medical details; the kids had a genetic condition.

What countries are left for Asterix, now that he's been to Italy, Germany, London, Scotland, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine, America, Egypt, Denmark, and Tunisia? And China and Kush, if you count the movies?

Oh yeah he's been to India. And in the same book, Persia. Plus Palestine. Forgot those.
>>
>>151933688
There's Anatolia (Turkey), the rest of North africa, the Mediterranean islands like Sicily, Corcsica, Crete, Cyprus and Rhodes and the Balkans/Thrace. I would love an Asterix in Parthia/Persia comic. They briefly passed though going to India but I want one focusing on the Parthians, the only great power at the time to actually beat the romans handily (and without any magic potion).
>>
>>151933736
They would probably need a Deus Ex Machina to get to Japan, considering the distance. That said, Roman coins were apparently found in Japan, with the current theory being that the Romans met some Japanese and assumed they were Chinese, who the Romans did trade with infrequently.
>>
>>151933882
They went to Corsica too, damn, I keep missing ones. I should have made a list.

>"lies"
>omitting the truth
Nah she just straight up lies. Like when she pretended to be someone else to get to know Monty. Or how about that time she said Cass didn't mean to injure 17 people? That was two lies in one sentence because Cass did mean to but also the number was much higher. And what about that time she tried to stop Eugene from confessing to robbing the queen back in the day? Technically that's just omitting the truth but it's a MAJOR lie, not a little fib. I'm sure I could find examples of her lying in almost any episode if I look out for them. And a lot of them are more than just trying to be nice.
>>
>>151933847
And btw someone mentioned this before but behavior like this is actually a subtle way to show the influence Gothel had on her personality. Also there was that one time she was perfectly cool with locking up an innocent Cass and Eugene in order to make them act more like how she wants them to.
