This is my canon ending to The Simpsons.
>>152056602Realistically, Bart would be far more successful than Lisa in the adult world. The series implies Bart is just as smart as Lisa, he just isn't great at school. He is however is more creative, sociable, humorous and risk taking next to Lisa.Bart would probably be a small but successful business owner, Lisa would be a self-aggrandizing "burnt out gifted kid" bum.
>>152060401blaming others for their place is life is their entire MO. its easier then accepting that the quality is rolling downhill.
>>152059631Boomers were great parents for the most part. Mine were great, anyway. Also, this episode is an example of Homer doing good parenting. He sticks with his punishment of not letting Bart see the movie, and it pays off in the end.
>>152056602>Bart's best life is serving Lisa.this tbqh famm
>>152058207Lisa is the "Kid who makes it" in leaving their small town and becoming accomplished AKA the original set of writers self insert. Then that self-insert nature was kept by the new writers who weren't the kids who escaped small towns and instead were born and raised as myopic upper class liberals who don't have the same self awareness needed for restraint.
Why were they all so obese?

>woman
>>152063645Well she is.
Mystique's biggest appeal is turning into someone else, and she is already heavily entangled with a blind old woman.
Does anyone else think there was a large tone shift between the other movies and this one? It feels way more subversive. The male characters are more effeminate than ever, and the villain characters have some gay innuendo problems, eg dude shouting "gaping" I also noticed lots more OMG's where I don't think there were any in the other ones. Basically I won't turn it off for my kid but I will try to get xer to watch something else if possible, like the Mario movie.

I would use the Reality gem to alter nutritional value so that junk food are the healthiest superfoods in the world. Cake, ice cream and tacos being as healthy for you as celery.
>>152063277I don't think that's how that works.
Have the stones ever been transformed into living beings? What kind of people would they be if they became human for example?
>>152063391
>>152063466There was probably a story arc where something like that happened.I'm too lazy to check, but you're the one who wants to know, so you can do it.
Is the Death stone still a thing?
You will never find a woman this dedicated to you.
>>152062217>I'd be more inclined to say she's more a victim of fridgingVictim my ass, she literally became a god just because.
>>152062217fridging is killing someone pointlessly just to make the (usually male) hero look tragic and cool.Betty literally took over the finale and saved everyone including simon and completely sidelined finn from main character status, and that’s after a whole arc of her being a quirky antagonist but all the heroes and villains still liking her and trusting her and ccoperating with her anyway. It’s like the og Star Trek esque Mary Sue who barges their way in, makes the plot bend to her own sideplot and makes every member of the cast bow their head in respect to her
>>152062124>Simon is my favorite character and I want to see him happy.Me too, anon
>>152063689If only she weren't so obsessed with bringing Simon back, these two could have fallen in love.

>>152062702yeah, spinoffs are all well and good but you need some kind of central story to hang everything off of.
>>152062702I don't think we necessarily need a big crazy multimedia protect like this, but I think if a director comes into Lucasfilm who wants to tell a story in a new era, they can work hand in hand with the storygroup and a new group of current Lucasfilm authors to help decide what that era looks like to fit their film into. Then have it release alongside the normal handful of tie-in novels and comics written by those authors that big releases usually get anyway. That way we have a new era that is able to handle multiple complex stories by design, with multiple lucasfilm creatives already having ideas for where to take it next. Could you imagine if the sequel trilogy was handled like this instead of letting JJ do whatever he wanted and having authors try to make sense of it after the fact?People can say what they want about how woke the High Republic is our whatever, but there is no denying how rich of an era it is compared to the sequel trilogy
>>152062424>Radda radda
>>152062903JJ just set up a bunch of obvious plot hooks with no real thought how to end them. The real problem was Round Head coming in and trying to SUBVERT EXPECTATIONS. > but there is no denying how rich of an era it is compared to the sequel trilogyOnly because it was a vague era of existing Star Wars lore and ideas. Otherwise it's almost completely lateral.
