Let the feast of minds begin
>>152092789Yeah, it’s probably Daphne. The hypnotized redhead trope doesn’t really exist in comics when you compare them, or at least the other hair colors are just as likely to get mind controlled too with memorable methods.
>>152092810In comics I feel like blondes are more likely

What do you guys think of Awkwafina? She's been in so many hit animated films. She can rap and sing too. A real triple threat.https://youtu.be/N4ovRhX8XIM
>>152091500I fucking hate her guts. Absolutely disgusting voice, not a good voice actor at all, she's only famous because she's a ghetto chink. if I see that she's credited in a movie, I do not watch the movie.
>>152093103same
>>152091500what is you talm bout
>>152091500I actually think her voice is pretty hot, the issue is that she doesn't act. All the characters she's voiced were all the same.
>>152091500>What do you guys think of Awkwafina? She's okay in the two movies I've seen her in (Raya and Renfield, with only the former being /co/-related). Not crazy about her, but I also don't share in the frothing-at-the-mouth hatred some people have for her. Her voice gets me diamonds, however. I love raspiness.

It's honestly kinda baffling how people view this as a high water mark of excellence, when in reality it's extremely stereotypically 80's.>not a single good face or drawing>conforms to janky on-model nonsense that's loved by executives>the average episode plot: saturday morning drivel. because, surprise surprise, it's a "writer driven" show>but wait, it does have good animation... for 2-3 minutes of the whole show in 1 or 2 episodes (huge 80s-ism)>it wasn't created to sell toys though!!!!!!!

>>152089081I rarely see people not defend Oldtales but I agree. As a kid I watched it of course but I found most of the show boring. It lost track more often than Darkwing Duck even. The "great adventurous show" people call it often barely left the mansion or Duckberg. Some characters like Magica or Donald were extremely underused or completely missing. Many stories were absolute bullshit (like marbles and tuning forks being the Infinity Gauntlets of that universe). Of all the good era of Disney Afternoon shows, I liked it the least.Everyone complaining about Nutales Webby can fuck right off, they haven't experienced 80s shows getting highjacked by cutesy scenes or "girl episodes". Those were atrocious. The caveman was also ass, just like many of the time travel episodes. I hated all the Gizmoduck episodes.Things I liked though:If it was good, it was REALLY good. Which was mostly adventures with the kids and Scrooges.I liked that Donald was a Navy soldier and it had an interesting spy plot episode about that.I liked Glomgold, he was a great villain.I of course liked the first NES game and its remake, and the movie.

>>152094529He's not choosing, they're fighting over him. Either way it ends with one of them having a sloppy makeout session with the other's anus.
>>152052531it is, but at the same time its more worldbuilding and an actual examination on how being transformed affects the character.Like, in comic it is no ones fetish, just an odd thing that happened and they have to deal with it.
>>152091696Thanks.
>>152050079
>>152052531>>152091766To quote the author >Ultimately, OOPs is the project that my heart is in, and it was never meant to be gratuitously kinky or anything. There's plenty of nonsexual, non-kink elements to explore with transformation in terms of character struggles, plot elements, existentialism, perspective-exploring and other stuff. And also, the whole transformation element is just one character's story (albeit the anchoring one that kinda ties a lot of others together).

Alright boys. I have scientifically deduced the very first episode that marked the gradual decline in Spongebob. Was it a terrible episode? Not really. Were there good episodes made after? Yes. But it's the first one that felt "off", and it was nothing but a consistent downwards trajectory after. The Camping Episode was the B episode paired with Krabby Land, which further proves my point.

>>152087117stupid thread
>>152087182True ive also heard a theory that the reason why Stephen Hillenburg didn't want any more spinoffs is due to to the interview been a few days after the first movie, he was pretty overwhelmed at the time.
>>152087182>>152087345>>152089902I'd say Late Season 3 specifically (Born Again Krabs to Pranks a Lot) was when the episodes were feeling more dumb and self-referential, like "Haha we know this is dumb" (Missing Identity). Probably since the writers thought the show was winding down.
retard take. there are no bad S3 episodes except the sponge who could fly. the last episode (strangler) was tits so arguing that there was a gradual decline is dumb

>>152087465Plastic Man, alongside Captain Marvel and The Spirit, are widely considered the peak of Golden Age comics, so the bar may be set a little high. But there’s still good fun to be had. I’d recommend Superman over JSA, the comics done by his original creators are worthwhile. I’d also recommend Batman, but not until 1943. This is when Bob Kane fucked off to work on the Batman newspaper strip, while simultaneously bringing Dick Sprang on the books, who really got Batman going. They were like Silver Age comics, before the Silver Age.

Much more dynamic poses than I can come up with.>>152087705Yeah I thought her showing up after would be the most natural, but her calling the adults over with everyone else scattering with Mike stuck like a baby deer in headlights would also make sense. It could also have the adult(s) blow off amy because Mike is a good kid that never done anything bad so they brush her off and Mike apologizes to Amy. Then it could shoot off from there
>>152093341It really feels like a desperation tactic in how much it was not needed, she has a group of people 24/7 finding ways to justify Lucy in all contexts and instead of letting her trained agents work themselves into an excuse she comes with the most childish reasoning and crosses fingers no one remembers the actual context and order of events. I believe Line in the sand got her ego hit in a way she wasn't expecting at all, people found it very hard to excuse Lucy and Augustus except in the "I need to excuse my purchase" channels, people DESPISED what she did to James and considered Lucy blackmailing Paulo a clear manipulation tactic. Remember the schism over someone saying they hoped Mike killed himself to atone for December and how hard they had to do mental gymnastics to keep their position and also stay in the moral high ground? Something tells me Suit is not actually doing a good job at filtering the content Taeshi can see
>>152087675Even in the worst reading of Mike, I'm not sure what he's supposed to do to take accountability. He apologized, Lucy told him to go to hell, and he hasn't intentionally talked to her since. There's no reasonable way to make it up to her or undo it, so it seems like he's done all he can.
>>152094498Thankfully I stopped caring about this comic altogether. Better to just move on with my life and pursue different comics.
>>152094498Based on her blogposts, it does look like Taeshi is often just agreeing with and reinforcing the damnations some of her readers come up with based on Line in the Sand.

>>152087985Probably has something to do with her Oscar for Bao and her Oscar nom for Turning Red. Also Turning Red was apparently successful enough on Disney+ and keep in mind that Shi wasn't the original director on Elio, only brought on about a year before release alongside Madeline Sharafian.

Hoodwinked Workprint has been found, you can now watch Tara Strong voice the character in unrendered sceneshttps://archive.org/details/hoodwinked-story-reel-aka-workprint
