Reminder, Princess Bubblegum did nothing wrong, and the only people who disagree morons who need immediate reeducation. It’s not her fault that everyone else is objectively wrong and that you can’t keep a girlboss down.
did canadians actually watch this show?

Welcome to another thread discussing your favorite comics of the decade. We're doing another round of the 2020s, since we're more than halfway done with the decade. Here you can present and discuss your favorite reads published this decade so far (2020 - 2025), including series that ended this decade that did not begin this decade. We allow comics from all over the world and of different formats: American, European, manga (only encouraged if you also have favorites of western origin), webcomics, etc., as long as the enthusiasm is there. You can also discuss major disappointments. For your 3x3s:https://www.befunky.com/create/collage/
>>151930558Thanks anon. I'm lazy. It's been a long day. HSP is pretty good. I went in blind and didn't know much about it and was very surprised. Doesn't wear out its welcome, Watters writes young people well without making them complete shitheads, the art is great. I think Watters does better on indie junk, I liked Coffin Bound quite a bit but i haven't read any of his big 2 work.
>>151930581I take that back. I read a couple issues of his Nightwing. Thought they were pretty good. I need to catch up
>>151930558>It is super cutesy? It's not saccharine
>>151930581That's good to know. I'm adding these to my list.>>151930640That looks good. Nice and severe.
My current favorites from this decade.Zoc and A Frog in the Fall have a pretty obvious Studio Ghibli influence, but I enjoyed them just the same. They are very comfy.Sunday, I read entirely over a Sunday. It was a religious experience. I plan to revisit all of the Schrauwen family comics (Arsene Schrauwen, Parallel Lives, Sunday), as they're all interlinked by fictional blood.Land of the Lustrous is epic. I'd love more action series like this and Takemitsuzamurai (and No. 5) that have a unique art style; their own MO.Tokyo These Days (center) is my top favorite so far. It, along with Sunday, revitalized my my love for comics after a prolonged slump.Goodbye, Eri is quite moving and I just plain enjoy formal playfulness and cinema. The Great Beyond ("The Great Void" in French?) is a visual feast with a neat gimmick premise. There's another comic from this artist I want to look into called Semi-Science Fiction.Crickets is actually The Blood of the Virgin. I didn't think I'd like it, but suddenly I was on the last page. Pretty good. Reminded me of the way Jaime Hernandez did comics, but a lot more focused on its main narrative. One Beautiful Spring Day is more Jim Woodring. Can't get enough.
Expectations so far?
It's so funny to me how clear it is that Marvel had no idea or plan with Kang
>>151926068>MistepsPretty sure the most successful post-Infinity War entries in the MCU are the ones that involve multiverse slop. As much as people on the internet bitch about them because they break some unstated sacred rule of storytelling, the general populace just wants Steve Rogers and Tony Stark to come back, and get to meet the OG X-Men, along with Wolverine, Deadpool, and Tobey McGuire. The shameless fanservice is what people come to these movies for.
>>151924158Based, same
>>151923939X-men movie with full roster plus Magic and X-23. With Iron-man vs Dr. Doom. Tony vs Tony.
>>151929573As a marketing tactic, nostalgia is very effective. But it usually has to be very blatant in the promotional material. If they sold The Marvels as co-starring the FoX-Men, more people probably would've given it a watch. Likewise, if they had some action scenes with Chris Evans in the Cap 4 trailers, people might've been excited. But few people will go watch a movie because word-of-mouth says there's a nifty after-credits scene, just like few are so attached to the Captain America brand that they'll watch it no matter who carries the shield.
>B-but they can’t even kill major villains in the comics! How does writers giving villains massive plot armor somehow debunk the pros of capital punishment? We’re talking about applying their philosophy to real life, not a story where logic is discarded for the sake of the narrative.
>NOOOOOO YOU CAN’T JUST HECKIN KILL THE JOKER SURE HE NUKED MILLIONS OF PEOPLE AND TURNED SUPERMAN INTO HITLER BUT HE CAN STILL BE HECKIN REDEEMED!>Oh, Charlie Kirk? Yeah, I’m glad that racist chud is dead. This is REAL justice!Make it make sense

Requesting Echo from Clown Corps having a wardrobe malfunction, kind of like the comic on the far right. The top-left reference is her "villain’"uniform, and the bottom one is her civilian look.

Requesting that resolution meme with ENA (Dream BBQ), going from low-poly pixel to 1080p like in the reference. A close-up of her cleavage or butt would be great. Another reference here: https://files.catbox.moe/l9y15i.jpg - That is what I had in mind, bit too lewd for a blue board. I am okay with just a redraw of the original.

>>151914457It was kind of weird seeing Charlie act like a damsel throughout this season. In the first season she was more manic tomboyish. This season she acted more like a clueless spoiled princess.
>>151930466It's funny how she literally did nothing in the final episode; her biggest contribution was being used as a pawn by Alastor, while Emily somehow felt more like the protagonist by saving Alastor and being the first to try to prevent the cannon from exploding.
>>151930507Emily was the first to suggest to Charlie they need to help her people. What a lot of this really means is that everyone in Charlie's circle who SHE sees as her favorites by extension happen to be inspired to do the best they can in a situation.
>>151930507>>151930721>Husk and Cherry fight Valentino to save Angel>Niffty fights Velvette so Baxter can do his computer stuff>Alastor is the one who fights Vox and causes him to suffer a mental breakdown that makes him act stupidly and lose the support of hell>Emily saves Alastor, she is the first to say that they must save the sinners from the cannon's ray and she is even the one who tries before anyone else to stop the cannon from explodingIt's incredible how almost everyone in the group does something important while Charlie literally did nothing. The only one as useless as her was Vaggie, who spent the entire episode scratching the cannon instead of cutting the cables until Carmilla told her to do so.

Disgraced former X-Men ’97 showrunner Beau DeMayo demands credit for making Cyclops popular enough to get a major role in Avengers: Doomsday.
>>151928731Tell me why. The animation sucked, Rogue dunked on Cap because of bullshit reasons, and they actively did the Magneto storyline with her instead of fixing it.
>>151926221Poor guy...
Cyclops is popular?I was under the impression Cyclops is more 'hated as a fucking terrible character' rather than anything.
Cyclops was barely in the original. It was 97 that brought the character out of complete obscurity.
>>151928731X-Men '97 is unironically the most overrated show of the last decade. It has plenty of aspects that could have been good, but the pacing is so utterly terrible that those good aspects only make the way it turned out more disappointing. It should have been a lot better than it was, and it's baffling that it doesn't get a lot more criticism.
