GREEN ARROW has never been a top-seller, which you can guess from the number of times he's had a book on the stands. It's been inconsistent for a reason - he never quite gets over the hump of where DC wants sales to be. That's unfortunately the reality in commercial arts, like comics. If you're not selling, you're not going to continue making for long. On top of this, DC is going to be releasing two additional Green Arrow books in 2026, both seemingly trending toward what Montos and I were doing with the title in 2024 and 2025. So, if you do the math, I think it's quite simple. DC wouldn't have three titles with a character that doesn't sell particularly well, would they?>I'll be the first to say that I'm disappointed by this. I was really enjoying writing the characters and exploring Star City with Montos and the great team on the title.
