I hope Glitch and Dana have made peace with the fact that Knights of Guinevere won't ever reach the heights of TADC's popularity
>>153059520Great news then! As of the first episode, she doesn't have a job anymore.
You guys think Andi's a heavy drinker?

>>153061394>incompatible genitals with alen>lack of mandibles with oliver>cucked by xi ngl i kinda like the idea of an unlucky in love femjacket
>>153061394i got to say the show is doing a good job at making me care about tech jacket because i can't tell you a single memorable moment of his in the comics and i've read the whole thing

>>153061394yes ma'am!

Do you miss his show?
>>153056687I am content with the fact the series is done and most likely won't be coming back after lars of the stars, the series wasted every opportunity to become great to pushing messages that's actively souring like milk, every chance was smothered in the crib and we're left with little but greentexts, poor fanfics and porn. God dammit this series could've BEEN something but it was all made by lgbt idiots and feel good cultists.
>>153056687Nah, I'm pretty content with all we got over the years. Rebecca Sugar managed to stretch out the Steven Universe concept pretty far and was able to tell the main story she was hoping to tell, so I personally never felt we needed a spin-off or additional material. Still, I'm open to Lars of the Stars only because she and Ian JQ specifically want to make it.
>>153056687Only for 'Stronger Than You' but that's definitely it out of me to care about the show as a whole. Especially with its socially- awkward agenda-pushing imagery, mellow-dramatic mood swinging, pseudo-cutesy "wholesomeness"- All of it, is what makes watching the show a slog.No complete disregard to Sugar, she's a talented musician- it's just hard to stomach a show that deduces that overall society should function as a hugbox.
>>153056687not really. cool gem powers and fusions activated my autistic brain. i didn't give a shit about much besides cute gem girls and the lore, and most of it was disappointing when it did show up on screen and we weren't watching random townies anyways.
Why did it shift from magic in the first season to sci-fi after?

Still no Alien: King Killer 001 (Marvel). Disappointing.
So Hoppers was just Wild Robot mixed with Avatar 2009..
It was a mid version of Pom Poko.

>>153056139From the first episode, I was absolutely obsessed with Spongebob. I remember being upset that the show wasn't popular at first and there were talks of cancellation. A Spongebob movie would have been positively mind-blowing to me in 1999. But somehow, when it actually happened 5 years later, I did not give a flying fuck. Didn't even try to go see it.This leads me to believe that I must have died inside at some point between 1999 and 2004, which makes more sense the longer I think about it.
Yeah it was great. It's part of that collection of movies you would take with you on a road trip with your parents as a kid to see your sick aunt in the hospital.
Been reading Mark Gruenwald's Captain America, and it's been fun. I love Gruenwald's worldbuilding and continuity autism. What Marvel runs have you read recently? What have you enjoyed?
>>153061129Why thank you.>>153061413I don't remember every character becoming a complete degenerate under his tenure.
>>153061433The stories were bland, tasteless slop. Outside of a few winners, like Marvel Knights and early Deadpool, it was a forgettable mush.
>>153061493Are we talking about Harras or Quesada? Because nobody is forgetting Spider-Man making a deal with the Devil.
>>153061529Nigga, was you around in the 90s? Because if you were your know what a depressing shit show the Clone Saga was. I not saying Quesada was good, but Marvel wasn't in a good place when was hired. It's how he got the job in the first place.

Would you say this show was specifically made for toddlers? It was on the same channel as other toddler cartoons like Littlest Pet Shop, Pound Puppies, that Horse Show, and Rescue Bots.
>>153059504>They were definitely pushing for mature stuff. And i don't know why they stopped the push either and why so suddenly too. Its like cartoon network went from pushing regular show having the words piss and crap in it and showing realistic guns in 2012 and then by 2015 garbage like we bare bears comes about and has to come on and s-o-yify everything and become the new standard for animated programing for the next five years until the industry just stops making animated shows by and large because no one bothered to watch the last half decade worth of shows because they were all limp wristed infantilized shit. I miss the TV-PG era of the early 2010s so much, that was meant to be the new standard of animation going forward not just a fluke fucking goddamnit!
>>153058902>Retards who can't tell the difference between a show made for kids and toddlersTbh neither can modern media execs either now apparently
>>153058781WTF, no.It was aimed at the same demographic as the 80s GI Joe cartoon.US soldiers as protagonists really calls for a certain level of real-world relevance that would go way over the heads of toddlers. In Renegades, two different groups of good guys put in conflict by the criminal justice system (Flint and Jaye chasing the falsely accused MCs) and criticism of big business were in every episode.
Shocked to see renegades have a thread but this threads ass this is sadly the last Joe cartoon ever at this rate and honestly? The story set up was good making cobra evil corpos was ahead of its time

>>153054210It's nice that Dynamite's allowing some of these comics to come out and they've been getting better since they finally cut off Diamond, but they're not beyond reproach. Their reprints for the older Gargoyles comic are disappointing. Mediocre image quality, some panels getting cut off, confusing chapter breaks. They even censored a line of dialogue despite already having warnings about "outdated content".
>>152717144>feather pillowcute>>152717159Gosalyn opening the vault is hilarious and the gags with the wrong books are quaint.
