Anyone who falls for this bait is making it obvious they don't read comics.
>>153074421
This is the Ultimate universe. The original one. He killed a town and nobody could help him control his power. He was killed because nobody knew it was the fault of a mutant. He was going to die anyway but this way it wouldn't be pinned on mutants.
>>153074973
This is 616. She was experimented on by Norman Osborn and provided a suit because her powers are radiation based and there are several characters with similar powers so it's easy to fix. She even had her powers fixed so that she didn't need the suit. I think that was temporary.
>>
>>153077267
>He was going to die anyway but this way it wouldn't be pinned on mutants.
It should have been. Why are they covering up perfectly good reason to think mutants are a problem? "It was an accident, he/she couldn't control it" means that it will absolutely happen again. Are they going to kill the next kid who loses control of their powers and kills hundreds or thousands of people too? And the one after that?

It's too bloody and self-aware to be a sincere superhero story.

But doesn't seem to be a deconstruction, either.

Yeah, to be absolutely fair, this reeks of "she's not the main character, so she can't be TOO effective" style nonsense. Notice that Allen was also conspicuously doing worse in that fight and had to retreat. What? Hate this kind of shit.
>>
>>153078123
limited viltrumites so they cant just attrition them into extinction
everyone must be a jobber, such is the way of invincible

>>153078374
Fucking Allen and omni man fucked up an entire viltrumite prison and he had to retreat from 2?? conquest wasn't even there anymore he was busy with mark, him and tech jacket should've bodied those 2 im not even asking for them to be able to kill them but be able to fend them off at the very least
>>
>>153078123
Because Robert Kirkman's philosophy towards powerscaling is literally that one Stan Lee quote. And while I know some people take powerscaling to retarded, extreme lengths, you need SOME basic level of scaling for your story to make sense.
>>
>>153078433

Right? It's fuckin' bullshit. Main character privilege, I'm telling you. Again, this is apparently comics accurate, which is lame as hell, and something they should've changed. If we're going to go out of the way to recruit all these people, let them get shit done.

Anons and the internet at large vastly underestimate what autistic girls are actually like, they're kinky if sensory issues don't get in the way, but there's a reason their relationships last 3 months on statistical average.
They have a habit of demanding constant validation, they consider themselves "honest" but the absolute second they're confronted on their own shortcomings it becomes "why is every1 so mean?"
The victim complex with them is so fucking unreal you have to see it to believe it.
/r9k/ tier shit.
It's why you often see them with boyfriends with an absence of regular friends.

Can we just admit that power armor is the coolest "power"? There's just something about the combination of gadgetry and flying brick that makes it so engaging. Also shiny metal.

Do you prefer power armor characters to lean more towards Iron Man, where the armor doesn't matter too much and the guy inside it is a super genius, or Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle where the armor literally makes the hero and the hero isn't as smart as the thing he's wearing

For me there are some powers that are vital;
>movement, be a jetpack, weels or turbo legs, an armor is heavy and you have to move it around somehow
>special vision types, like x-ray or termal
>servo streng, the point of the armor is also to give more streng to the user after all
Thats the basics for me, but i can see someone making a power armor without some of these. (I think that fallout dont have movement)
>>
See what I really want is for some villain to catch the hero with their metaphorical pants down, stab them in the back and revel in the hero's defeat only for the armor to get up and open fire and we see our tech hero is at home in their PJ's manually controlling the suit.

The deconstruction of superheroes is the most overused and predictable trope in comic book history. From watchmen to invincible, and all that crap inbetween by obsessed tryhards like garth ennis, warren ellis and rick veitch. How come this shit still sells, after 50 years of shameless uninventiveness?

>>

The "deconstruction" stuff just puts a little more thought into the genre than the average fare. Playing it straight tends to mean putting little to no effort. It's got no flavor, no impact, nothing. It's just flat and dull. Comics by people like Mark Waid and Jeremy Adams are extremely sleep-inducing. What's the point if you're not gonna make it exciting?
