>movie completely ruins the moral of the original
>>151971047Yeah? What if I am a billionaire? Or what if I become one, genius?!
>I am the Lorax, I speak for the shareholders! Buy a Mazda!
>>151969852I saw the animated adaptation, and it felt even more somber seeing all the pollution destroying everything in motion.
>>151969852The original animated movie does a great job of balancing the somber message against the realities of finding a practical solution>Well, what do you want? I should shut down my factory, fire a hundred-thousand workers? Is that good economics, is that sound for the country?>>I see your point. But I wouldn't know the answer.Environmentalism's good, but it's hard to find a way to make it gel with everything else we've got going, but we've still gotta try.The recent adaptation gets around this by just making the nuCEO cartoonishly evil so he doesn't have any counterargument.

Is Disney going to make deals to """allow""" their characters to appear on Photoshop, MS Paint and Sai next?
>>151971760OK, but courts have ruled you can't copyright anything that is made with AI.So, if they make a feature film with AI then it's instantly public domain and anybody can use it.

I hope her entering public domain results in her getting any sort of movie, even a cheap horror flick.Doing ANYTHING with her is better than the IP squatting do nothing rights mess we had before.

Previous >>151926056Today is 2019Previously, there was a lot of hustle and bustle with the Starbuck Jones movie finishing production. The cast had a Comic-Con panel and afterwards it was decided, thanks to a tweet from Jeff Murdoch, to hold the premiere at the Valentine Theater in Centerville as an attempt to save it. Pete, for some reason, was sent ahead to do "advance work" and encountered Mindy—Jeff's daughter, Ed Crankshaft's granddaughter and ex-Montoni's waitress—and somehow the two of them hit it off and began dating. Around the same time, Darin managed to meet and connect with comics legend Phil Holt who soon after died and left him a bunch of comic cover illustrations which Pete subsequetly auctioned off for charity much to the approval of the ghosts of Lisa and Phil. At the SJ premiere, there was also a double wedding as Cliff Anger and Vera Nash were married alongside Mason and Cindy.Pete and Darin were contacted later on by Chester Hagglemore who wanted to start up a new company to "revive the spirit of Batom Comics" and with SJ done, the two bozos decided to leave their better paying jobs for Atomik Komix where it was seemingly just them until they were later joined by Mindy as a colorist. Meanwhile Bull managed to form a friendship with Buck Bedlow, a rival player from Big Walnut Tech, and the two would regularly get together to reminisce about their playing days. Wally started up his last semester of college and was paired up with Adeela, an Iraqi immigrant, in a partnership that started awkwardly but was eventually smoothed over. He also learned that Rana had reembraced Islam and intended to become a teacher and go back to Afghanistan so she could educate girls there.

DC and Marvel have both been desperate for the black female lead for years now and we've seen many failed experiments come from it. Marvel will continue to struggle, but this whole team DC has been sitting on this established black female character who already has a chunk of fans already from the start that would be the answer to the problem. But because they refuse to do anything with Bumblebee outside of teen teams, "Female Bruce Wayne with a broad superpower to allow for all sorts of creative solutions" should be an easy second choice.
>>151962472No, she's boring as fuck. Only reason there's a push for her now is because she's a black woman.
